I have this same (mine is a later iteration from JP Cages) chassis and am in the middle of my build. Only one I know of that has made it to the U.S. If you want to bounce ideas off anyone, I’m happy to help. I haven’t uploaded anything here but I post a few things to FB and Instagram.

front top A-arm is always inclined a bit (1/2"-1") and NOT flat! as it brings the top balljoint in under bump, please look for more information about a front setup before you start welding, love the LP400
Wow , I noticed the heim Joints where not locked nutted either ? I have a really Good Lambo Kit on my channel as well but the chassis needs updated as well .
It'd be great to have a good LP400 rep, but to be honest I'm thinking this chassis looks pretty weak and dangerous apart from all the issues pointed out...
I think In principle the chassis is more than strong enough for a road going car with the issues tidied up and a few bits put in. Alot of these were built on ladder box chassis back in the day.
Trying to talk myself into a similar car, LP500S flavor, tube chassis. What thought process did you go down to choose the Audi v8, was it just ease of transmission options?
I think Pete probably chose it for a few reasons. Easily accessible, decent power, good choice of transaxle gearboxs and good spares availability to name a few benefits
