There is a scoring variant that gives you more points if you can build a perfect square, or keep the castle in the center. This has been a great filler game for us. It gives a bit of puzzle, very approachable, cute...just all around pleasant experience.

I believe on a 2 player game there is an option for a 7 X 7 grid 🦄🦄🦄
