@@maninthevan53 I think shootings at dances are a rarity and have always been a rarity. I must have been to easily over 1000 dances, big and small and not once was there any sign of shooting. Yeah, sometimes a fight would brok out, but even then I have seen more brawls in London pubs among white people than black people at dances. Further, if your dance is illegal the police have every right to mash it up.

Saxon and Alan Brando got the corner locked. Saxon hasn't been what they once were, of late, but this performance shows their caliber. Musically, they plaid it safe with a set of party classics, but the crowed loved it and that's what counts...
Saxon don't have nutten to prove...one of the best sound in the world with some of the wicked dubplates I ever heard....Saxon is the most unique sound of all sound...

Saxon is the Stonelove of UK nothing to prove at all. They played music how it must play none of this bubblegum music weh gwan now. Those are crucial pieces that mash up the dance anytime anywhere.

I thought Saxon was done playing ages ago. I must admit I have been living on the continental for 20 odd years, but I really thought Saxon was done and gaan. I don't even recognise the crew. Inna my time it was Tippa Irie et al.

Saxon Sound don't clash as often...in the words of Muscle Head...The money have to be right and the clash has to nake sense....No joke idiot clash....Tippa Irie and the others are still around...but from what I understand Trevor Sax is no longer a part of the sound....
@@vincematic4638 I saw Saxon a couple of time in the late '80s early '90s. I left England to go to live in The Netherlands soon after and even saw Tippa Irie performing in Amsterdam. I must admit Tippa knows his tunes. He was just dropping a selection even without being on the mike for part of the evening. Nowadays, I don't really follow the Saxon genre of sound systems. My love is Roots Reggae and the concept of clash does not really exist within Roots Reggae anymore. No need for musical confrontation in my life or indeed any kind of confrontation, just a solid fat one burning, conscious lyrics and jaw dropping bass lines. As well as that, inna Roots dance di people dem much nicer. A whole heap a time way back when inna London going to listen to the likes of Peter Metro, Tenasaw and dem kinda man, and almost every night something nasty and bad mind woulda happen. Four Aces, Dalston ... fucking animals. Clapton Pond, my God!

This music these guys are playing is GOOD. But it is the music I listened to 30 - 35 years ago as a youth from a hardcore black Jamaican family from Birmingham, UK, and as a big man in The Netherlands.
