  • If evolutionists and creationists agree that Lucy is an extinct ape, how can we tell if she is a common ancestor? Is there existing data for a true transitional creature? ICR geneticist Dr. Jeff Tomkins and paleobiochemist Dr. Brian Thomas answer these questions during a live Q&A session on a college campus.

Very nice! I very much appreciated his honesty in the response and the clear way he was able to get his point across. This was very enjoyable to watch.

Excellent illustration of reasonable discourse from both parties.

Evolutionary theory states that one kind transitioned into another. When asked for proof, they give one kind. And then a different similar kind, and say “This one became that one.” When asked how it transitioned, the proof is “trust us. We are trained scientists.”
I’m not against trust. I am against claiming something as factual truth when the evidence for it isn’t present, and evidence against it is deemed crazy and must be mocked and ridiculed and then ignored.

A straightforward answer to a somewhat hard-to-understand question - this is the data and it is consistent with the creation model derived from what is revealed in the Genesis account. Very clear and enjoyable to watch how to answer without becoming overly defensive :-)

Yes, but a lot of paleontologists have gotten wealthy and famous by claiming Lucy to be in our ancestry.

Lucy isn't the only specimen. They have found over 400 specimens of Australopithecus Afarensis.

If there is no transitory ape/man how does that not disprove evolution. Abundant transmutations should exist between all forms of life if evolution is true. Not just one or a few transmutations, but a continual progressional series of transmutations.

Hey ICR, I have a question (leaning more scientific) concerning flood geology and the ICR flood model. Is there a place I can ask this?

the whole point of evolution is to get rid of the Creator…and to get rid on the Creators true Sabbath…and to institute the false sabbath “created” by man.

At some point you need transitional form.
