Did anyone else notice that Orga and Megaguirus have similar features and it's because they both have part of Godzilla's DNA, And where it is most noticeable is the tail because Megaguirus and Orga have very similar tails, I love this Detail
The edge on these bugs. While both are nicely scuplted, it sucks that paint was skipped on one of them. That really is keeping it from being a great figure. Hope this get resolved in the future. For now, I'm just glad that more kaiju are getting new figures.
Yeah that's the endgame here, the poorly repped Kaiju are getting their time to shine! I just wish Bandai would let them shine a bit brighter with some more love and attention... yeah they're $15 to $20 figures, but there's just some things that need to be done!
Liking both of these, personally I'm just happy we got both a new battra and megaguirus without it being too expensive even with their flaws. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on them soon! (By the way, I wonder when bandai will make a new orga?)

I bought this Battra action figure on Ebay a few days ago. I can't wait for it to arrive (although I will have to wait a long time, I'm Italian and the seller was a resident of Japan). I love Battra, it's my favorite kaiju, and this action figure is really very well done.
It may be considered sacrilege to alter the original figure in any way, but I would love to see what this Battra would look like with the under side touched up with a yellow Posca paint pen.

Amazon and MMS releases seems to be.. really dodgey these days. The last ones I remember seeing go up were Ultima and Short Jet Jaguar SP. really weird how it was so quick for a while and then *boop* barely anything! Get on your good game, Amazon!
Yessir! That Megaguirus and her paint job are fantastic!! I'm personally hoping for someone like Gabara, or Ebirah, even Minilla to some extent! need more of those harder to find monsters in the MMS!

I own the two pack one I forget the name of it but it's the older mold you have but the movie colors and I'd say the new one is almost just as good, because the two pack one is almost godly in terms of paint but the new one isn't ass expensive to get now, so this is a massive w for megagiruis fans , the movie get trashed but I love it alot lol
Great review man, Battra is nice but definitely far weaker (the cringe paint on the underside of the wings) *but screw it!* I'm happy to buy him since he's a brand new monster for my collection. And I'm hoping for that larval form too. Megaguirus is a great figure with that gorgeous metallic/copper paint, while sure my bias will still prefer the Cinema Exclusive Megaguirus I currently own, but I definitely agree that this is the new definitive Megaguirus figure.

TAMASHII NATIONS Bandai Stage Act. 5 for Mechanics Stand Support (Clear), Multi (BAS56788) a.co/d/9jG2kkn I’ve been using these for all my videos, they’re rather sturdy even though I haven’t been all too kind to them lol Very much recommended because of the ratchet joint at the base, keeps them arial poses or flying monsters up there nice and strong!
okay, so, that Battra is actually from a set Bandai put out in the early 90's called The Three Giant Monsters Battle Set. It came with that Battra, a Mothra Larva, Godzilla, and a building. It's a pain in the butt to find complete, but it's actually easier to find the figures separately lol
Idc if the battra suffers from lazy paint job on the underside of the wings, the wings aren't fragile like the '92 version of the figure. So I'm getting it. I got a Megaguirus already so I'll pass on Megaguirus but hey at least my freind will get a cheap Megaguirus.
