@@Bob_DickinsonThe Kisarazu squadron consists of a bunch of different helicopters and all of them have highly stylised liveries with anime versions of their pilots painted on. They're mostly just a PR squadron that goes to military exhibitions and events but yeah, it's a real paintjob. Gaijin also accidentally handed out a red-ish skin for the AH-1S Kisarazu that was meant to be DMM exclusive (the Japanese client) and they quickly took it away again, but I still have a couple of screenshots from the 2 days I got to fly with it.
@@Bob_Dickinsoni personally use them when i fly pass the SPAA i was trying to shoot and was turning my nose back them, i can shoot SPAA with 40mm grenade before i got my XM195 on him(XM195 is my main wrapon against SPAA because i suck with rockets)

A reminder for all Japan mains that you can switch to give the RP from your ground units to helis, so you don't have to grind using the Huey (I still spaded it and became quite decent at it). The option is located at the bottom right of the heli and ground tech tree tabs.
I really do like the AH-1Z Viper just so fearsome and seasoned warrior of the Cobra family from decades of experience, I always imagined of US marines requesting gunship support and seeing this deadly little guy lighting up the enemies and saving the day. I also just admire such a small helicopter packing so much classic American fighting fury it’s truly beautiful aircraft but deserves respect in it’s own right. Great video as always enjoyed it a tons!
Grinding the Japanese heli tree without premium is absolute hell, even with the inclusion of ground rp to heli rp, I’ve only put in 1/3 of the rp required into the cobra in a month, stopping for now to prepare for the type 81c next update Probably going to get the kisarazu in sales, I can’t do it Anyways, great video

When you make the AH-1Z vid, please show what loadouts it should have compared to what it has in game. I think the reason it only has the first hellfire version is because it was on of the first American helis in game, so the second version wasn’t in the game yet.
yea, ithink they either give AH-1Z its propper armaments, they either gonna make it like The french EC 665 Block 2, where they will force you into grinding another AH-1z, or they could improve the same thing. i would love to see thing thing improved

Borderline useless trivia but the anime girl on the side of the Japanese premium cobra is from the real world. The anime girl was that things pilot. There's a photo of her floating around the internet next to the art work.

Well, Ka50 is no brainer, followed by premium Apaches. Mi-24D for stomping low PvE bracket, but thats elusive heli that if it comes back briefly, its overpriced as hell. UK Rooivalk seems solid on paper - IR tracker, long range ATGMs, same with Italian/Turkish T129 I guess go with whatever nation you're playing Ground and you need a heli for it, and if premium heli is present AND have access to 7-8km+ ATGMs to pick off SAM/SPAA from afar, it should be decent. For Ground RB however, I'd pay attention to RWR, ideally NATO one AN/APR-39 as it can not only detect pretty much all SAM radars, identify them and should detect silent missile launches, to complement MAW if its present.
thank you so much man! ok so it depends on how u want to grind it, but you have several ways 1-Heli PVE, this one needs alot of time spend on to work around, premium time and premium heli is highly recommended, this one has a slow grind but it works. 2- Ground RB, now this game mode u can do better if you know what ur doing, u can do heli rush kill a tank or two, survive a bit and u got approx 7k or 4k RP , 3- Groudn SB, Ground SB is intresting dpending on its BR, in high tiers it painful to play cuz SPAAs and KA50s, but in lower tier ur gonna have an easier time. and you gotta get used to the simulator heli controls. 4- Assault Air RB, this is mostly top tier helis, u can also go with lower tier helis but ur performance is not gonna be as great, but again it depends on you, Good luck on your grind mate!

@@Bob_Dickinson well damn, but from the looks of it like you're running on your CPUs integrated graphics card. Are you sure you can't grab a second hand 1050ti somewhere? That should be "dirt cheap" and a huge step up. I ran into a similar issue way way back in the day and it turns out I was just plugged in the wrong HDMI port, instead of the GPU output I went in the motherboard.

I tried helis and was exited for it but as long the AH goes down from 1 7,92 bullet in the engine making it yellow so the engine cant even hold you up anymore i aint playin
yea helis are not meant to be shot, cuz they dont have the protection nor the armor, if they had it they would not even flydue to how heavy they got, the closest armored helis we got are the MI24 series of helis (not The A) and they are heavy to sling around.
right so Playing CAS might be alittle bit hard in high tiers especially helicopters, but you gotta start from somewhere tho, u can start with bombing or using rockets with early planes, then you can go higher and use helicopters with rockets aswell, also ummm the T129 is in my hangar rn, i got its test drive although im waiting for the update to drop to see if blackhawk is coming in!
Now you are talking! I love the AH-1 family. sucks that one of the other nations gets the cooler versions of ah1g and 1f, they get the AH-1Q which is sooo cool bc it has the 40mm turret of the G and the Tow 1 missiles from the ah1f. i lo9ve it!!!
oh yea, its one of the best Early cobras and a releatively low BR aswell, atleast for heli PVE. tbh i really did not expect the cobra to receive alot of love from the community tho

I have absolutely no idea how I haven't stumbled upon your channel until now, but I'm sure glad I did. I'm not even a helicopter player yet, but I've always loved them, and I intend to eventually. Stock starter heli grind is just... pain. Any plans for an Iroquois/Huey guide? That's my first helicopter in the game... the Italian one... with two 7.62mm miniguns... and fourteen FFARs... Kill me.
I understand your pain regarding the starter helicopter grind to be honest the ab205 is not the best helicopter to start with. But if you want to I can give you some tips regarding the ab-205 so you can have much less problems with it on the battlefield. The helicopter has 14 rockets and you have to learn how to use every single one of them in a way that you are going to do critical damage with every single one of them, what you can do is that you can practice on a helicopter that has ccip on its weapons, you can practice like me I used to go into the test drive in the Apache and practice different scenarios on different angles of attack with one by one rocket fire, The ab 205 has very nice mini guns that are fairly traversable and they can be used as self-defense or destruction of light tanks on the battlefield

I've taken the 205 into some test flights to get a feel for it, but I just can't stand unguided rockets without CCIP. Depending on speed and angle, they either go perfectly where the reticle is, or a hundred meters past it. Can't nail down where to aim consistently, and with so few rockets, testing with a few shots isn't an option. I imagine the miniguns are good against other helicopters, and soft ground targets in Heli PvE, but they're practically useless against most vehicles you'll fight in Ground RB. At least the speed and maneuverability is decent for a Huey. I'm not too experienced flying helicopters yet, having spent five years getting used to props and jets, but it'll click at some point. The main issue is RP. It just takes so damn much to do anything. I don't even know what the most effective method is anymore. Ground RB rocket rushes, Heli PvP, or Heli PvE. Seems like it's all crap.

On the early cobras don’t discount the effectiveness of the 40mm grenade launcher. At close range against soft targets, you can ruin their day.

The Cobras are so gorgeous, I love how sleek they look compared to the Apache, plus aim9ms on the end of the line cobra are so nice

I ran into a similar issue way way back in the day and it turns out I was just plugged in the wrong HDMI port, instead of the GPU output I went in the motherboard.
@@TheJayjam oh nah mate i use a GT 710 To run the game. And we have 30000% iflation rate in my country iran... ive been trying to get it for 6 years now, i really wish it was that easy to get a GPU...

I tried helis and was exited for it but as long the AH goes down from 1 7,92 bullet in the engine making it yellow so the engine cant even hold you up anymore i aint playin
yea helis are not meant to be shot, cuz they dont have the protection nor the armor, if they had it they would not even flydue to how heavy they got, the closest armored helis we got are the MI24 series of helis (not The A) and they are heavy to sling around.

right so Playing CAS might be alittle bit hard in high tiers especially helicopters, but you gotta start from somewhere tho, u can start with bombing or using rockets with early planes, then you can go higher and use helicopters with rockets aswell, also ummm the T129 is in my hangar rn, i got its test drive although im waiting for the update to drop to see if blackhawk is coming in!
Now you are talking! I love the AH-1 family. sucks that one of the other nations gets the cooler versions of ah1g and 1f, they get the AH-1Q which is sooo cool bc it has the 40mm turret of the G and the Tow 1 missiles from the ah1f. i lo9ve it!!!
oh yea, its one of the best Early cobras and a releatively low BR aswell, atleast for heli PVE. tbh i really did not expect the cobra to receive alot of love from the community tho

I have absolutely no idea how I haven't stumbled upon your channel until now, but I'm sure glad I did. I'm not even a helicopter player yet, but I've always loved them, and I intend to eventually. Stock starter heli grind is just... pain.
Any plans for an Iroquois/Huey guide? That's my first helicopter in the game... the Italian one... with two 7.62mm miniguns... and fourteen FFARs...

I understand your pain regarding the starter helicopter grind to be honest the ab205 is not the best helicopter to start with.
But if you want to I can give you some tips regarding the ab-205 so you can have much less problems with it on the battlefield.
The helicopter has 14 rockets and you have to learn how to use every single one of them in a way that you are going to do critical damage with every single one of them, what you can do is that you can practice on a helicopter that has ccip on its weapons, you can practice like me I used to go into the test drive in the Apache and practice different scenarios on different angles of attack with one by one rocket fire,
The ab 205 has very nice mini guns that are fairly traversable and they can be used as self-defense or destruction of light tanks on the battlefield

I've taken the 205 into some test flights to get a feel for it, but I just can't stand unguided rockets without CCIP. Depending on speed and angle, they either go perfectly where the reticle is, or a hundred meters past it. Can't nail down where to aim consistently, and with so few rockets, testing with a few shots isn't an option. I imagine the miniguns are good against other helicopters, and soft ground targets in Heli PvE, but they're practically useless against most vehicles you'll fight in Ground RB.
At least the speed and maneuverability is decent for a Huey. I'm not too experienced flying helicopters yet, having spent five years getting used to props and jets, but it'll click at some point.
The main issue is RP. It just takes so damn much to do anything. I don't even know what the most effective method is anymore. Ground RB rocket rushes, Heli PvP, or Heli PvE. Seems like it's all crap.
