I think the saddest part in this game for me was when you go to the protagonist’s house of the first B/W and the mom mistakes you for them. This really hit because when I played B/W2 it had been years since I had touch B/W which I had played through so many time
It also hits home when past trainers through out Unova pay homage and make references to the old trainer from two years ago signifying the impact he/she left.
Black and whites ending was epic, black and white 2’s ending was peaceful and calm as you traveled back to places you’d visited on your journey. And I love both of them
Ahhh Black and White 2... where 3D backgrounds met 2D models in a beautiful dance... people gave this game crap but in hindsight it was the last game where GF put heart and soul, pun intended, into the Pokémon franchise.
This is, without question, my favorite game in the franchise. I could go on about how it has more content than Sword and Shield for that low hanging fruit, but it means so much more to me than that. This was the game that helped me cope with depression when I was in middle school and this game was new. Bonus points for me discovering recently just how much tangible content was in B2W2 as I haven't touched it in years. Somehow, White 2 is one of the few games to be even better than I remember.
Bw2 are #3 on my top 5 games of all time. I have never felt so satisfied and emotional in any other Pokemon game as I did when these credits rolled. With BW, I knew my journey wasn't over. But bw2 wasn't just the end of my journey through Unova. It was the end of the 2d games and marked a turning point in my childhood. This was before I had my copy of W2. I had by then started to realize that the world worked very differently then what 10 year old me thought. And right around the time I realized that I wasn't a kid anymore, I decided that I wanted to play the sequel to my favorite Pokemon game. And wow. Seeing how my old rivals grew. How much the region I knew like the back of my hand changed. How the gym leaders gave themselves make overs or just stepped down completely, was surreal. My home region grew with me. But at the same time, I could still ride the ferris wheel. I could still do musicals. I could still fight team plasma. I could still get lost in the music. And I could still feel like a kid. I guess some things never change. But that's enough with the sentimental stuff. Thanks for doing what you do Zame! I hope everything goes well for you in the decades to come! I can't wait to hear what you got in store for us! :) But I should probably just set an alarm next time instead of staying up all night waiting for these. Lol.
Yeah, it took me while to actually play these games because I was afraid that they’d make changes I didn’t like since I loved the originals story and characters but when I finally did play white 2 I realised that they did these games right, the sequels are in my opinion perfect and add so much to the originals.
Every time I look at Pokémon credits I wait for the part when Iwata's name appears and I feel this gratitude towards him for everything, like, Pokémon wouldn't be what it was in gen 5 if it wasn't for Iwata and how he put Kanto in the Johto games. I feel a lot of gratitude towards Masuda, Iwata, Tajiri and Hitomi Sato, composer in a lot of game, but specially the 5th gen soundtrack.
2010's has been not the best decade for sure but it's always sad when things end, even the hardest. See you next decade folks! May this be a wonderful decade for all of you :')
If you look at it, Pokémon has changed for worse or for the best depending on how you look at it through this decade. It went from 2D to 3D and now onto it’s first main series release on the switch! My first Pokémon game was Pokémon black 2 and it blew my mind first playing through it, I still haven’t deleted my first save file with almost 700 hours on it, and I just can’t bring my self to delete it and start a new journey because of all the memories I’ve had through the years. And right now I’m playing through sword and it’s the first Pokémon game since omega ruby to really entice me. Sword is a really charming game full of personality. I’m glad I started with B2 and not with X, seeing how decisive X was on the difficulty level and well the rivals...But anyway THANK YOU ZAME! For all the music you’ve put out throughout this year! I’ve used it a lot as background music for when I play Minecraft with my friends and just when I’m relaxing! Have a happy new year and I can’t wait for the new uploads!
it's a miracle your cart hasn't corrupted, tempski. don't do what i did and forget to back it up even though you have the resources; make sure those memories are safe and preserved - you don't deserve to go through the same pain i did when i lost my 400 hr save in b2 a while ago.
Such fond memories... I remember hearing this for the first time, 7 years ago after completing White 2. A wonderful sense of accomplishment flooded me. A shame I sold my cartridge. I should've held onto it.
Yep, these games were easily the best games of Pokemon i've ever played (all of them). Scarlet and Violet is amazing too but nothing quite brings the level of perfection from these two games.
the way this ended the decade perfectly reflects how the pokemon company ended up as well. By that I mean while the DS era ended the peak of pokemon, 2019 ended the peak of anything good happening like, at all. This year SUCKS
I’m listening to this right now, right after my High School graduation ceremony I’m so emotional right now. I can’t believe how far I’ve come. From hating school, and nearly being held back, to being a top student! Just like BW2 was the end of an era for Pokémon, today was the end of an era in my life. I have no option but to move forward, and shape my own future.
This ending makes me a bit sad... I never payed that much attention to Gen 5 when I was younger. I had a copy of White 2 which I ABSOLutely adored (had to, hate me later), unfortunately I lost it, I always wanted to see what my team was back then... Thank god I revisited them early this year, my faith is restored. I couldnt think of any better send off to the golden age of pokemon, 2D Pokemon... You will never be forgotten. Thanks for giving me the best experiences out of any other set of pokemon games in the franchise.❤

Im aware its currently the beginning of February but i couldn't care less! Im wishing everybody Happy New Years for all of the years to come! Make sure to stay positive and never lose hope! And finally make sure to never forget these amazing games!
As black and white 2 were the very last first party games released for the DS, this could really be considered the ending for the entire console. The fact that Nintendo was actively supporting it from 2004 to 2012 with online lasting several years after that (and seemingly with the intent to last even longer if gamespy hadn't shut down) is incredible.
I love every single credits music in pokémon, but bw2's has always been my favourite (probably bc bw2 are also my favourite pokemon games by far) Somehow to me it really *really* captures the whole looking back on a journey thing, and you've remade it wonderfully! Best way to end the year/decade, so thank you very much, Zame! I hope your new year is great! :D (also, if it's alright for me to ask, who would you say your favourite character in pokémon is?)
My favorite character in Pokémon is probably Lillie- she had great character development in the originals. N is a very good candidate for best character in pokemon tho
This is one of the earliest memories I have of this decade; getting this game as a gift from my best friend. That makes it sort of the start, and end of the decade for me. How fitting.
I feel like I just said a tearful goodbye to my childhood-long best friend after reminiscing about all the fantastic adventures we had, sending each other off with a long hug before parting ways to separate parts of the world to follow our dreams. Only the fifth generation of Pokemon can make me feel this way, and this is accounting for the generation that puts you through a moment close to the one I just described.

No matter if the decade, year, month, or even day changes, the world will keep on spinning. This song feels like someone's telling me that, reassuring me everything's going to be fine... and that I should get ready for the next adventure, whatever it may be.
One of my favorite themes (this one is composed by Ichinose I think). They don’t make them like they used to, this is the true ending theme of Pokemon imo.
Platine, White2, XandY are my favorite games, great caractors, beautyfull musics, amazing plot. thank you again Zame, i hope you could make a Remastered version of "Kiseki" in PkmnX/Y💕
I got shivers just by listening to the first part. What a masterpiece these games were. After this, everything went downhill and Iwata-san started feeling sick and couldn't help that much anymore. Maybe the reason why the franchise itself lost a lot of quality after this, but we shall never forget the best time to be a Pokémon fan, back in 2010 - 2012 imo, when we had two of the best Pokémon games ever made.
Pokémon Black & White 2 are the best Pokémon games in my eyes. The story, the pixel art, and most importantly to me, the music. In combination if you count BW2 as a sister version it has my favorite soundtrack in the series followed closely by Pokémon Sun & Moon. And although this is an ending theme that's mostly forgotten about whether it's because Black & White's was just so kick-ass or because it didn't preform as well as others games it doesn't matter, this theme means a lot to me, and it means a lot that you've remixed it so perfectly. Here's to 2020, thank you Zame
This was the end of an era for me. Not just with BW2, but a whole era of 2D sprites and Pokémon games. I always loved these credits for showing me how far I had come and my journey, and in the years since BW2 came out, it’s symbolized more than anything else change- growing up, moving on, evolving. After these games I took a three year break from Pokémon (which I regret now because I missed all the excitement from XY and ORAS), and I came back to a series that made me relive my childhood again. And yet this song always makes me think of an evolution. Of change. This is the song I played after my high school graduation, the one I played my first day of college. It symbolizes a new start for me. And this beautiful remix just reminded me- 2020 is a new start for all of us. To a wonderful new year!
I have been going through a lot, so I just listened to this video, but Thank You So Much @Zame, for everything you have created, & for sharing your Love of Pokémon with us all. 💜 I am honored to have been mentioned in the "Special Thanks To" section. 🏅 I'm going to cry because this theme is very important to me & my Pokémon journey, & you remastered it so beautifully. I dream to maybe someday create content just like you do,but music programs & all of it is so difficult to understand. However, you have inspired my dream, & I thank you for everything you've done. You are an amazing & talented person. Bless you. 🍀🕊😢💜
... Well done, this is one of my favorite endings in Pokémon, the music, the photos with the leaders and important people in the story, like you are hanging out with them after all happened and you are just being homies with them, Burgh even do a ceremony for being a champion, and you reuniting with your mom at the end, it's simply perfect, and this rendition, is also perfect, bringing all the Unova style I love so much. For stuff like this is why I love the Pokémon community, and really thanks to you too, Zame! For doing all these great remixes all over these years, hope the best for you in the years to come!
every time 4:17 and ON plays i get a lump in my throat and sometimes tears, it's so powerful even to one who hasn't experienced it himself but played BW1...bravo to a greater generation of pokemon!
The memories! I loved the story and feel of bw2, and logged 700+ hours on a single save file of white 2 because I didn't want it to end. Unfortunately, I lost my copy a while back, but I still look at this game fondly.
Thats what called the Beautiful Ending thats a Beautiful Ending So many memories from this Thank you for bringing back the Nostalgia This marked the Ending of Old era of Pokemon to Beginning of New Era in Pokemon
I was about 3 minutes and 40 seconds into the song "Dream Hill” by Casiopea, and heard a lick that reminded me of these end credits; I had to come listen to it again. The flow of this song has a similar pattern to that lick.
I recently played black 2 after firered and ruby and some ROM hacks I only had the phone to play And after playing this game (and watching vids about bw1), I realised that Pokémon was never the same. So this is practically the last Pokémon game I played Might play the first one later on
Coming back of my little end of year vacations and watching this was....idk how to say it, spectacular? unique? Man, you just closed the year with 2 of the best themes of videogames that i ever listened in my life (this being the principal, no joke, this was the end of my best journeys on the pokémon series and it's very emotional for me) and i'm very gratefull with you for that, probably my heart is going to remember you for being the first and only one(props to Steven Mix too) that remastered beautifully my favorite track of my favorite game, period. But don't end your journey here, keep doing this, you and the guy who helped on this track are just an amazing example of how big is the community keeping the good memories of the people. Thank you for this and happy new year!.
Moving stuff, my man. Such a perfect ending to the decade :) I've been a massive fan of your stuff for... I guess it's been years now! It doesn't feel real, honestly. You really knocked this outta the park. Your remixes / remasters are always a source of inspiration for me. God bless you, and I wish you the best in the New Year!
BW2 came out at a weird time for me, which was around 6th grade. I didn't know what to do now that I was about to leave elementary school, but I did know one thing: I was excited about the next Pokémon games. I feel like these and BW are the peak of the Pokémon mainline games for a good reason and I'm glad people are returning to them and loving them. And while this is a great remaster of the credits theme, I feel like there's 1 more that deserves just as much attention as the others and it's not from RBY/FRLG/Let's Go. Still, I think this is a solid way to end the decade and I hope 2020 brings something new and fresh for everyone!

I couldn't keep myself/my emotions together when the song started, it holds a special place in my heart for sure...
every time 4:17 and ON plays i get a lump in my throat and sometimes tears, it's so powerful even to one who hasn't experienced it himself but played BW1...bravo to a greater generation of pokemon!
The memories! I loved the story and feel of bw2, and logged 700+ hours on a single save file of white 2 because I didn't want it to end. Unfortunately, I lost my copy a while back, but I still look at this game fondly.
This track, gosh. ❤ Hit me in da feels.
This music made made me cry when I first heard it...
it still does ;~;
Thats what called the Beautiful Ending
thats a Beautiful Ending So many memories from this
Thank you for bringing back the Nostalgia
This marked the Ending of Old era of Pokemon to
Beginning of New Era in Pokemon
Thank you for doing this. This really brings me back.
So hyped!!!
×2
Ok now I’m sad
I miss this era
I was about 3 minutes and 40 seconds into the song "Dream Hill” by Casiopea, and heard a lick that reminded me of these end credits; I had to come listen to it again. The flow of this song has a similar pattern to that lick.
Back when pokemon trainer sprites feel like real pokemon trainers. Compared to the 3d model/chibi ish that we have now
definitely the perfect song to end the best age of pokemon. got chills listening to this
coming back to say how much i appreciate this ❤️❤️❤️
I recently played black 2 after firered and ruby and some ROM hacks
I only had the phone to play
And after playing this game (and watching vids about bw1), I realised that Pokémon was never the same.
So this is practically the last Pokémon game I played
Might play the first one later on
I always feel at home whenever I listen to this what an amazing game
3:10 chills bro.. chills
I just beat the game, and the credit scene had me crying there. Thank you for making remaster for this song, touched ny heart really well :)
I wasn't expecting to be there since this year i was practically dead😭
Ah stop it, you know you deserve it ❤
@@The_Zame 😭❤️
imagine how much more sad this theme would be if it was the last pokemon game
These games...!
Burgh giving us a hero's welcome. All of Castelia celebrates your return 💜
My favorite pokémon game of all time...thanks
The best pokemon game hands down.
RUclips league champions! Congratulations!
Zame & Steven!
Thank you very much for making not just this year, but decade brighter
Thanks for all the fantastic music, you’ve made this decade memorable.
This is the final credits we ACTUALLY had
The theme for when u graduate high school, and you all go your separate ways. Sad but amazing
-I played this after I graduated
Thank you too Zame, for everything you've done for me and all of the rest of us these over past years. We'll always be there for you.🌠🎵🙂🎶🎆
The end part of the video, when you said thanks... Was beautiful, man... ❤️🎉
Its very beautiful, You made me cry :'(
i know this is over used but play this at my funeral or im not dieing
Hey to everyone, a very Happy New Year!
This song makes me feel somewhat sad that something has past. But it somehow becomes hopeful and it gives me so many emotions.
Mathew! Damn pal I forgot to add you at the post credits, but you definitely deserve a place right there ❤
the 2D era's end couldn't be better... BW2 was amazing!
Bro this kinda thing got replaced by Ed Sheeran 💀.
Black and White are turning 10 this year!
Anyone listening to this for a good 2021?
