My goodness, Sony made one hell of a sound chip for the SNES and this OST is a perfect example of it. The S-SMP sound chip (developed by none other than Ken Kutaragi, the inventor of the PlayStation) was a pioneer in the gaming industry. MKII for SNES took full advantage of it.
These themes go some damn hard on this version. Cage, Liu Kang, or Jax roll up in the Tower and then Baraka suddenly pops and starts trying to chop em' up.
