I love this song....it has been a favorite of mine since it came out. I got a copy of this album from the man who produced it, so I got to her it right when it came out. Love songs about the one who got away just don't get better than this one.

there's a moment on Martha where you can see the realisation in the persons face who is listening, something drops like a secret only they know. the minute he says hows your husband...I got married too. it changes everything.oh we are talking about that person. those "what if" moments in our life. one of my favourite tom waits songs if it possible. he does hopelessness like no-one else.
