Last December I did a South Pacific tour on this ship and it was quite nice. My only complaints about the food were relatively trivial:
No matter which restaurant you choose, DON'T BOTHER ordering ANYTHING with LOBSTER on the menu. The portion of actual lobster in these dishes are so small, you'll need a magnifying glass to identify it. And yes, you pay a premium for the privilege.
And in the Pastry Shop (near the Horizon Court), none of the pastries have the soft, flaky and slightly crispy layered crust you'd expect with a quality product. They are tasty, but have poor texture.
But plenty of choices and we had some really nice meals. And the cherries on Christmas Day was a really pleasant and tasty surprise. Doing another cruise on the same ship, Royal Princess, around New Zealand this December.
