1:45 damn ! I've run out of imagination again ! I could have teleported with the drill but I gave up instead. some of the golden puzzles traumatised me and I no longer have any confidence in myself.
I was so confused with this one. I used the hole in the wall where the red connectors go through to get the teleporter on the other side of the wall. Then you could flip the switch form inside and I thought I did something wrong because my solution didn't involve the mule at all with. I love how almost every comment solved it differently.
Yea, it took me about 45min before I came up with the same answer as the video. Not being able to solve this puzzle messed with me bad enough that I actually could not physically fall asleep till I solved it.
There's also an alternate solution where you leave the driller in with the blue energy source on the button, drilling the wall. Then, you transport the teleporter inside with the mule. You grab the connector, and teleport to the other side, near the blue connector. There's a window where you can see the blue energy source through the drilled wall. Connect them, and you're done, but with a slighty different end state
oh interesting, i think i actually cheesed this puzzle. you can reach through the bars on the inside area where the track is and flip the switch. so i did that instead of putting the tunnel device on the mule

My way took a little more time than yours. I used the mule to send the light reflector back to the gate, but the result is the same

My version of the puzzle is not working. I can reach the ending point but there is no prompt on the hand print. It's like the puzzle did not power up.

i feel this one lacks an elegance that generally characterizes talos principle puzzles. there's so many parts just to make the dumb mule mechanic work
Agree, the "revelation" part isn't very satisfying to figure out
I felt that way about most of the puzzles in 2, I kept finishing the puzzles feeling like I had 2 or 3 more moves left to do

I did this by using the “mule” to jump on the walls and get the items into the central area that way.
Only one out of the 120 (150 maybe?) puzzles I had to look at a guide
Did it in 3 minutes, thought the solution was obvious from the title of the puzzle, the moving device IS the mule, obviously
