Awesome! Palawan and Iloilo is one of my dream itineraries of the philippines!! My eventual goal is to get a scooter and drive the entire philippines staying in one section for a month then move to another section for a solid year untill I get a top 3 area then go back to those areas to pick my retirement location.

Try visiting Iloilo its one of Unesco city of gastronomy. . You can also visit Guimaras its just 15 minutes boat ride from Iloilo.
Tetired expat living in Thailand 6 1/2 years. Had mcycles, never did a road trip. Wife says no.
In theory sounds great. But car much better. We travel all over Tland. Great roads, reasonable hotels.

I have only been to PH twice now (3.5 months first time 2 months 2nd time) I now have an apartment in Valencia. The first time I was there I bought a KTM Duke 390 and outfitted it with a top box and panniers (which I remove for daily use). I have done two trips around Siquijor. Next time I hope to do Bohol, but now I might consider Iloilo as well. I am set up for road trips and also have a Click 160 with top box if the partner wants to come along. I have found some places are hard to take a Motorbike or scooter are hard to get to (Palawan). I am still to young to retire, but working on building a future there now, so working in U.S. and starting to spend a few months at a time there. Maybe we can do some road trips in the future

I'm looking forward to your Iloilo trip. One of the reasons I'm moving to the Philippines is to go scuba diving. Are there lots of dive spots somewhat close Iloilo? Curious about Roxas city as well.
There is a diving site in San Joaquin Iloilo. Concepcion Iloilo and Isla de Gigantes is a nice place for scuba diving. Concepcion and Isla de Gigantes is near Roxas city too.

I would love to make that trip with you on my Yamaha Aerox 155, it is smooth and comfortable. The problem is my Passport was sent in today because I have no more pages and must renew…takes 6 to 8 weeks. I once rode my BMW F800GT from Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta and back over 4 days there and 5 days back 4,000 miles round trip. No issues or problems ourselves but came upon two dead men, one on the beach in Mazatlan and one near Los Mochis in the dirt, and a shot dead horse in the middle of the road.

Wanting to come to filipines by the end of the year for 2 -3weeks. My main interests are enjoying relaxing on great beaches and some dating pretty filipinas. What areas would you recommend to combine the two ?

I look forward to the videos on the road trip. My wife is from the town of Dumangas so when we've gone there to visit over the years we've spent a lot of time in Iloilo City. A nice trip is along the coastal highway from Iloilo to Miagao. Currently we're back in Canada, but are both looking forward to getting back to our home in the city of San Fernando, Pampanga about 6 weeks from now. Safe Travels Gio.

The best roadtrip in the Philippines is the North Luzon loop . Start in Clark global city then to Baguio , LA Union , Ilocos , Pagudpud , then Sta. Ana Cagayan, Isabela , Quirino , Aurora , then back to Clark . That's the best and scenic roadtrip

I would have thought you would have a SRRV visa there in the Philippines because you are former US Military man like me. I got mine, and it is good for life with $10 each year to update your ID card. In and outs of country are easy, plus you can work if you wish. It too is a resident visa.

I warn you, a tourist Visa for her no doubt will be rejected by the US Embassy like ours was. My Thai wife and I have been married two years and built a house free and clear on her land in Eastern Thailand. She and her sister have a farm and raise rice, chili peppers, onions, and garlic for sell. My wife and I have a joint bank account and she took all the proof of strong ties to Thailand but the interviewing officer didn’t bother to look over her well organized paperwork. I contacted a visa lawyer in Bangkok who said, I can take your money to help you but you will pay another $185 application fee and the Embassy will still say no. He said the reason is, they automatically think she will go to USA and file a petition to stay which eliminates the higher fees to immigrate with a marriage visa and green card. I even wrote the embassy to complain but there is no appeal process…you are just SOL. The US Embassy runs a scam to get your money, as their web page gives you a list of what she might bring as proof but they will not even scan it. Try another visa is the only advice I can give you.

I hope you don't go to Iloilo because some things should remain more of a mystery so that when people finally get an opportunity to go there, themselves, they can experience the awe that arises when they behold the mystery of a place firsthand. Many of us would already know from other videos how beautiful Iloilo is from other videos made by other expatriates; and that's enough already to wet the appetite. It's beautiful in a lot of ways because of the people who live there who I've heard are a more respectable conservative type of people. They are likely that way because Iloilo hasn't been inundated or contaminated by so many tourists. Some places are better off not being put up on any form of an advertising billboard; and not all people have to be on video or in a video interview. Maybe you feel obliged to your subscriber base to make a video for them; but, you could, instead, make them a video for them on, perhaps, a hobby you do at home; insofar as inviting them into a sort of thematic presentation of what domestic life is like for an expatriate in the Philippines. A lot of armchair tourists simply won't know about the sacredness of a place like Iloilo and its long history because sadly a lot of people are exploitative in nature; and you don't have to look much further than what happened the Native American Indian demographic and their land. Simply put, some places are to be revered and should remain somewhat undiscovered to encourage an evolution on their own terms without influence.
My answer to that would be not to watch the videos if you want to be surprised.
No promotion please, we don't want a second Dramaguete, Iloilo is as good as expat free, let's keep it like that!

I would like you to go up into the mountains of Valencia and Sibuland next to the twin lakes and see if there are any rentals and houses for sale.. it is cool in the mountains of Valencia and the next door province of Sibuland it is two or three or more degrees cooler.. I've been there and did that in the 70s but I haven't been there since then.. thank you sir and I am always watching and enjoying but you asked what we wanted to see and that is what I would like to see..👍👍👍

I really look forward for video from Iloilo. This year my Filipina girlfriend and I started to pay for condo in Iloilo city. Once the Building will be finished, we plan to rent condo. But I would like to visit Iloilo, Bacolod and Guimaras island once I will have condo there.
I hope Iloilo will be more popular for foreigners one day. I will need to rent that condo to someone. 😃😃😃 Having empty Condo on Philippines, and living in Europe is not good combination. 🤣🤣🤣
