30% Laporta last year. 1) Good passing QB, 2) Limited competition for targets (Brown, but no one else), 3) talented prospect. I dont see any late round TEs that have all three of those things going for them again. I do like Musgrave, but he has plenty of competition for targets including another TE. Freiermuth doesn't have much competition for targets, but not sure Wilson is a good passing QB anymore, and how good is Freiermuth? Not saying their wont be good TEs late, but another Laporta? Not happening this year.
Brock Bowers could be that guy.
@@AngelRivera-uv3zw Everyone is on him, but below average QBs and Meyers is a legit second target. Worth his price, but he's not going to be a top 5 TE.
@tkell31 I've picked Bowers at 105, where last year LaPorta was going at 120. But I understand exactly what you're saying. LaGoata has designed plays and is featured in a top 3 offense while Bowers is currently the 3rd option as a Raider. Don't be surprised is Bowers eats and becomes #2 early though. With the space Davante Adams creates, Bowers is gunna barrels through defenses. Reminds me of Gronk and Kittle.
@@AngelRivera-uv3zw Interesting. I was 30% LaPorta in bestball and took him in every redraft league. His path to production was so clear I thought he was a no brainer. But Goff is so much better than the LV options and they didnt have a second WR to get in the way...I'm 10% Bowers now. Wont get any higher since I dont think there will be enough production from the QB to support him.

Can you make a video combining the RB, WR, and TE draft strategies into one ideal draft?
The draft strategy I have been taking with TE is whatever falls to me. If I dont like what falls to me...I'll just punt the position.
I ended up with Leporta, Andrew's, Kittle and have Lamar and Goff in one draft. I wasn't trying to but I couldn't let them drop like that and not take them.
It all depends who you passed over in order to take those 3 TEs. Lamar and Goff are way apart in ADP so that's nothing special, but to take 3 TEs and a QB in the first 6 rounds doesn't sound all that good to me. Especially, when 2 of those TEs, more than likely, won't give you full seasons, and definitely won't give you the numbers like a WR or RB can give you in those same rounds. But, then again, anything can happen. You never know how anyone's going to pan out.
I've been drafting this strategy all off-season. Good to know it's not statistically terrible, but those 10-12th round TEs just seem multiple tiers better than the ones a couple rounds later.
Pitts by far has the best playoff schedule. Raiders, Giants, Redskins. Week 17 will be a revenge game for cousins.

I am in a dynasty league in have both Trey Mc, in Laporta. I have ceedee ,puka ,waddle, Dell. My rbs suck kyren in walker ,cook .. I was seriously looking at this team in thinkn flex spots I might wana start both my TE on good week . I mean 14 points for most of those players is a a average from waddle on down.
I joined a 10 team dynasty league last yeat. There was 2 open spots, so me and the other new guy drafted between the 2 availables rostets. I ended up taking Andrews with my 2nd pick. Then picked up Friermuth and Ferguson on waivers(drafted Fergusons backup Schoonmaker as well still in my taxi swuad). 2 weeks last year i started Andtews and Ferguson. I won one of the weeks. Lost the other week by less than 5 points. It can b done 4 sure but the matchups kinda gotta lineup. Ive noticed in this league certain teams stockpile certain positions. So I figured id try to corner the TE market. And if nothing else u have possible trade options
I drafted goedert and no other tight ends last season and won my money league, so I’m not sure how this holds up 😅
I made it to the finals with 5 TEs last year. Until someone else makes it to the finals with 5 TEs, it will go down as the greatest 5 TE team of all time
I play in a 3 year keeper, I drafted LaPorta as my TE1 LY in round 16. I can keep him there for two more years.

By the amount of points the top tight ends put up, I’d honestly want 2 picks from the group of Kelce laporta andrews I’d rather have both than some 3rd round rb or wr
You rather have Laporta and Andrews more than say DK and Pittman, or Etienne and R. White or any combination of the 4? The WRs and RBs you can get in those same rounds score a helluva lot more points than either of those TEs. Nearly every WR/RB in that range scored 200+ points last season. The TEs haven't scored over 200 points in their careers. Those specific TEs only put up really big numbers....when compared to other TEs.

Look at the data for trey mcbride and njoku and I.Likely leading up to the playoffs and then up to the semi finals. They did very well. Then they bombed. Thats why it looks good up to the semi finals drafting TE after the first 5 rds there were some others that played well in the last few weeks and disappeared in the semis too.
I literally took evan engram after everyone else drafted a TE last year and won hahaha took engram in round 11/12 hahaha thats insane to think TE even matters

@@mattp8654 another thing i would say against conklin is rodgers never really targets tight ends either, ii just dont think he is fas good as others in his range

He was a target hog last year, however even though ridley is gone, gabe davis and brian thomas jr I think are going to take some volume and value away from engram

@@linooliva3965 I’m of the personal belief that Gabe davis + BT jr will be much more of a threat than ridley. Gabe davis is no slouch he was a solid WR 2 (not a fantasy WR 2) for one of the best offenses in football for a good minute. And well Brian Thomas you can just look at the tape on him he could be a major contributor for them.

Call the two TEs before Round 12 the Boujee TE strategy
DK only lets you draft 5 total TE's. I have been preferring to punt the position because the difference between TE9 and TE 30 really isnt that big, so you can grab guys like Hunter Henry and Dawson Knox at the end of the drafts that are purely TD upside on a weekly basis.

I feel like this year we might be able to get away with 2 TE builds if we don’t draft a TE in the first 6 rounds. I think the Tight End Wasteland years are over for now and there’s around 12 guys that we can feel pretty good about.
Time will tell but TE doesn’t feel nearly as gross this year.
If you are only drafting 1 te you are already pretty boned and just donating to the rake.
