Any idea how could I determine the model? Some guy trew it off the roof to the street; told me I can take it. I just replaced the chain and the blade without anything else... Thing cuts trough wood like it's not even there. Amazing power from such an old machine (it is heavy though)
So, I'm just trying to figure out what model is it. Looks very similar to this one (no oil adjuster for the chain and the exhaust goes on the opposite side)... Any ideas?

I have a vintage 49 SC, I rebuilt the top end and now it has good compression and runs, but it's very lean no matter where I set the carburetor. it won't stay running without constant throttle. I went through the carburetor twice and it seems fine. Any thoughts on what to try next? It has been cold outside, but it won't run properly even in the garage heated although better somewhat, is it just the cold weather? It literally will not start without starter fluid being sprayed in the carb and it won't run at all without some choke
