Hello Francesca, thank you so much for the kind words! One week later I'm more at ease with the situation. 🙂 Have a great Sunday and thank you once again for the comment!
Even though they were "accidentally" damaged (we're all human) you extracted some of the most ancient coins from being lost forever!! I, for one, enjoyed your hunt with glee!! Good work 24!!
Mr. Beepers! Thank you so much for your kind comment! I'm really glad, you liked it. I'll try to return to this forest and we will see if it has "more" to offer. Hopefully without any "side effects". 🙂 Have a great Sunday!
makes you wonder what went on out there with all the silver dropped in that general area,,we all smash coins my friend,, i almost cried when i scraped the heck out of the most beautiful colonial copper ive dug,, most beautiful coin ive seen come up,, they are always toasted,, this one was immaculate and i hammered it,, sucks but we press onward brother... nice diggs bud
Hello Ray, thank you very much for your comment! Now I can imagine how you felt... Sometimes it would be better not to find something. I can only hope that it doesn't happen "too often" in the future. Have a great Sunday & Happy Hunting!
We've all hit our good targets. I've scratched entirely too many relics and such. I know it's frustrating, at least you found the silver and it's safe and sound at your house. No longer buried in the dirt 😊
Beautiful man, I think you should go back and grid that place, it looks to me like they might have camped in that section. Don't be too hard on your self, that area needs to be excavated carefully by you. Without being rushed. It's not a race, we enjoy the process of the way you do things. You are a pro, you are finding incredible objects. I hunt modern parks here in the states, you should see what the lawn mower does to coins. Love your work.
Thank you for the kind words, Wayne! I appreciate your comment. I will give it another try and hope that something like this doesn't happen again. If a find was already damaged, that's OK, but if I'm responsible for it, it's the end of the world for me. But, after one week I could at least look at both coins. That's progress. 😄 Have a great Sunday!
Hello Mr Md 24, Great video,Great Finds Always fun Tagging along on your Metal Detecting Adventures. Thanks for the Video & Have a great weekend. ⛏️😊👍🙏
Nochmals vielen Dank. Wünsche Dir einen schönen Sonntag Abend!
The one with this strange Alien organism underneath? According to the sound, it was iron. I also didn't want to disrupt the "growing process" of the plant... 😄
Dont fret my friend,it happens to the best of us....😢 #9 looks to me like an old drawer pull. As far as the coins are concerned before you stop detecting change your digging implement to a small shovel cut a round plug with the target in the center maybe then those soft tiny roots will be pulled wway from your targets.
Unfortunately a shovel wouldn't work in this type of soil, with plenty of roots and rocks. #9 looks like a drawer pull, but it's really a 1600's buckle, or at least part of it. I found a similar example in a book, they call this type a "baldric buckle". Have a great Sunday & thank you once again for the comment.
Hello Lucy, thank you very much for your comment! I'm doing OK, but it could always be better. I'm glad you liked the video. I also enjoyed doing it (until the problem with both coins...). I wish you all the best! Have a wonderful Sunday. 👍😊
Do you get vibes from some area's , i once detected a area where a house burnt down , felt creepy for some reason , found out after the fact 3 children died in that house fire , sad ,
You are so hard on yourself! I hope your angst doesn’t take the joy out of detecting! If that starts to happen take a break. Metal detecting should be Zen not a crisis of consciousness over every root that gets broken, just saying. Maybe do a little beach detecting for awhile, lol. You have great videos and take great care in doing the right thing by nature and your finds. Now be kind to yourself
Hello Claire, thank you very much for the comment! Beach detecting would be a great idea, to heal my wounds 😉. Too bad the Ocean is too far for me. Detecting the forest is usually " very Zen", that's where I tank energy. Unfortunately this happened, otherwise everything would be beautiful. One week later I'm more at ease with the issue. Nevertheless I really hope that it doesn't happen again. Have a great Sunday!
A magnificent hunt. Watching you bring these coins back to life is thrilling. A pure joy with no curse attached. X

You pulled up the flat rock but didn’t dig that signal. Why?
