The Clínica Universidad de Navarra launches the most advanced Proton Therapy Unit in Europe

The Proton Therapy or Proton Therapy Unit of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra at its headquarters in Madrid is the most advanced in Europe and the first in a Cancer Center, with all its healthcare, academic and research support.
The new Proton Therapy Unit will treat its patients with one of the most advanced equipment in the world for Hitachi technology, present so far in 27 academic centers, including international leading hospitals in the treatment of cancer.
Due to its lower toxicity, proton therapy or proton therapy is especially indicated for the treatment of tumors that are difficult to access or close to organs at risk.
