For me any comic related game always looks better when it's cell shaded or styled like Marvel Super Heroes. This and the upcoming Samurai Shodown is the reason why I'm getting a Switch.
I agree, but the same problem i had with MvC3 when they first went with cell shade are the hit markers. They are so big and flashy it takes away from little details in the animations. MvC3 and Infinite hit markers are ridiculous.
Funny enough, the Ultimate Alliance games were created as somewhat of a spin off of that series. It's a crime that we never got Legends 3, especially with that Mr. Sinister tease.

Wow this game has blown my mind so far. I am definately getting this game at launch. You can see the love and hard work that went into the development and can clearly see that they enjoyed playing this little demo!

I love that they're revisiting this series. Each one was an absolute love letter to the universe. Legends was a classic X Men Story. Apocalypse was the game version of an over bloated 90's event and loved every second of it. UA was "The Great Marvel Roadtrip", and UA2 recreated one of the largest events in comic history - regardless of your feelings on it, everything changed after Secret War/ Civil War. Getting a switch just for this game.

This really gives me an old-school arcade vibe which is great. Some folks may not like art style because it isn't super detailed or gritty, but it looks fine. Definitely interested in getting this.
Prior to this demonstration; this game looked pretty good. After this demonstration; this game looks top tier epic and fun! It is the best the series ever looked and it will age well based on the design (loved the previous 2, but they are starting to show their age) The presentation looks like a perfect modern day arcade game, which the Smash Bros style selection screen; really woks well with. My only problem is that I don't know if I should get it physical or digital. Can a representative of Nintendo please tell us how the license for this partnership works? If I buy this game digital; will it be tied into my account purchase history and available for me to re-download; even 10 years from now? Im already running low on GB space with all the games you announced!

There are RUclips videos on how to upgrade sd cards on switch. Games are account bound and saves are on the switch itself. I'm going 400 GB because this download (pre order) has left me with 6 GB out of 256. They should do a switch dock rework with expandable storage for games you might only want to play while docked.

So far the only thing I don't like is the fact that flying isn't spirit free. I hope this game eventually gets cheat codes so we can fix this. In both previous one, flying wasn't costing any spirit and that made them more enjoyable.

I feel bad for anyone who doesn't have a Switch yet at this point.
So far the only thing I don't like is the fact that flying isn't spirit free. I hope this game eventually gets cheat codes so we can fix this. In both previous one, flying wasn't costing any spirit and that made them more enjoyable.

@@FlyingRaijin52 Lol, an X-character who has hardly anything to do with them after her debut(except for the few times she was treated as a plot device and got absolutely no respect in AOV, HoM) but instead appearing in over 400 issues of Avengers comics? Avengers is what defines her character more than anything else.
By your logic, Rogue would be an Avengers character since her debut is in Avengers comic as a villain.
