Props to the interpreter here for making a genuine attempt to translate as much of what was spoken as possible. It's often easy to just gloss over the parts where people seem to be speaking to themselves and not directly at Tezuka. Sam made a lot of little comments about what she loved about certain level designs or what she found difficult, and I think developers are genuinely curious about this inner voice and they often have something they want to comment about those thoughts.

Explanation: dwarf (or gnome), is a level that kills the player in interesting ways, but troll, kills you in annoying ways and is unfair in general.

You don't have to touch the goal tape to clear the level in the Super Mario World style! You just need to walk through the gate. Shown at the 17:00 mark!

@@psyffee3755 In SMM1 in the Mario World style, you had to touch the goal tape at the end of the level to clear it unlike the original game where you just walk through the gate. It got changed as shown here.

I loved the tutorials in WarioWare D.I.Y. The Super Mario Maker 2 tutorial looks just like it! The writing looks really good, so expect me to waste a lot of time going over the same tutorials again, just like I used to in WarioWare D.I.Y.!

i seriously hope that the luigi assist can be turned off by level makers.
Also since I mentioned other Mario franchises too like Warioware, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, etc., you can also play as other Mario characters too (Mario characters only, not other Nintendo, 3rd party, or Indie characters).
Wario isn't a Mario franchise, and so isn't Donkey Kong.

Donkey Kong had his original game that I'm sure everyone knows, and Mario was actually INTRODUCED in that game as "Jump Man". Donkey Kong came out BEFORE Mario.
And as for Wario, his game had nothing to do with Mario at all, with completely different rules, mechanics, characters, etc., he was then added to some Mario games like Mario Kart and Mario Party since he was inspired by Mario's character. Not FROM the franchise.
Obviously I know you've believed Donkey Kong and Wario were Mario characters for a long time but it's just false.

There pretty well designed
There is so much time and care into the story mode. The dojo is such a nice addition i never thought would have been added. The mario maker team is blowing me away at every corner. Good Job to all of them!

Can I just give some credit to the translator guy, he even translates the 'anou' that means 'umm' or 'so' most times and doesn't paraphrase his responses.
He is very clear and concise with his words, and deserves a raise

Well actually, if you pre-order the game through the Nintendo e-shop, you not only get 12 months of Switch Online(!) as well on top of that - but also a custom Mario Maker 2 stylus (they’ll actually ship it to you, and you don't even have to pay for the shipping itself lol)!
I wouldn't know obviously if this would be the case, but maybe something like a Switch stylus would help you make levels in the game more easily with your condition? :-) might even be the complete opposite of that for all I know (I have very little knowledge of the condition), and maybe I’m an idiot for even thinking that would be the case, but idk, it's just a suggestion!
