I always think of how mind blown ppl from the 90s would be if you busted out your cell phone and loaded all the sega and nintendo games right then and there lol
I just picked up the last one they had after seeing this. I couldn't pass up a mini SF2 cab to have on my desk, since it meant so much to me as a kid. Thanks.
I have TONS of ways to play SF2'. But I like the novelty mini factor of it ! YES, they didn't censor E. Honda's bathhouse like the Nintendo Switch ! I'm gonna pick this up ! 👍
What? Censor? - ok im probably late on this as im very oldskool.... but what have they censored on Hondas background of late? - please answer. Vcurious. Many thanx. Much love to all. From a gamin veteran that unfortunately had to sell his collection in 2013 and never quite got over it lol
Thanks for buying this one for review. That way I know it won't be like that weird AtGames Blast scenario where RUclips Reviewers got arcade roms in their versions but retail builds got NES roms.
The stick is meant to be light like that. If they would've decide it to make it stiff, then the tiny arcade would move all over the place & that's not good, & we would've to hold it with your hands during gameplay & that would've not make sense.
@@marioedward7635 I bought mine here in Australia. Was $99Aud at the JB Hi-Fi store. But yeah, I have the game too on the PSP Capcom Collection, and on the PS4 on the 30th Anniversary. I just love the look of the mini arcade cabinet! 🤩
All in all doesn't seem as bad as their old machines. Have you played their Space Invaders one? The screen reflection is very nice looking and something no other company has pulled off. Definitely their best machine!
It looks pretty cool, (though a bit expensive compared to past MyArcade cabinets.) I want one. Nice it's an arcade port, but with added custom options. Love the cabinet art.
At the $25-30 range they're pretty cute. I've got some of the MyArcade and Basic Fun Walmart exclusive mini cabinets set up on a shelf with some 6" action figures. The stick on this one looks better than their old cabinets. I probably wouldn't want to play Street Fighter on one of these, but it's pretty cool that the option exists. The $50 price tag is more than I'd want to pay, but I get it, seeing as the shell looks like a brand new mold, they're actually using the arcade version of the rom, they've managed to integrate a 2-player system into it, and at least to my ear it sounds like they put microswitches in that joystick.
They should make one of these that has all the old Street Fighter games packed into it (All the Street Fighter II's, all the Street Fighter Alpha's, and Street Fighter III's). Even if they doubled the price it would be worth it.
damn! really this just made me want to revisit SF2 on the capcom arcade stadium collection on Nintendo switch! already have the hori fight stick mini so that's more than adequate for all the arcade action on SF2 I could ever want!
FINALLY. They teased this at CES last year. I'm sure covid delayed stuff, but outside of CES, there wasn't a peep about this! I went ahead and got the other bigger version made by New Wave Toys, and its a pretty sweet desk piece to leave on.
Man I’ve been waiting for this to finally come out! I collect these and they are pretty awesome even if the gam play isn’t that great..$50’is a little steep.. but they will Prob come down over time
Thanks for this video just brought the last from target in nj on pick up going to pick it up this week or weekend. And I only paid 44$ for it I’m so hype ❤
I thought it was funny yet cool how you spent your own money to get one just to review for us. I appreciate you being honest with us and my arcade. I wonder if you can switch out the loose Joystick with a less loose one? $50 isn't that bad. It'd be cool if they made a Mortal Kombat one 😁
I have a feeling this is facetious but I've never done a pi... Yet that was my first thought, for $50 this is a lovely size and quality for a home build... The new capcom thing would be much better but less money wasted if we fry this thing trying
The New Wave Toys version may look more authentic, but it is not playable due to the small size of the joystick and buttons. I ended up selling mine. My Arcade version is very playable and feels authentic to playing the arcade.
Yeah I can understand why the joystick is a little bit loose, if the device doesn't weigh a lot they didn't want you fighting the unit instead of fighting in the game lol. Pretty much to keep it in one place when you do a combo or something.
That’s a genius idea! If done right, they should make them a bit larger? Like 3x3? But batteries 🔋?? Hell no make it a bit bigger and let’s plug it in . 🤘 Man I would get SF, MK, TMNT in time, Killer Instinct and that marvel one.

More like 5. The frame rate was awful. Considering a £10 Pi Zero could emulate SF2 perfectly, it such a poor effort. I have the My Arcade Bubble Bobble and that was fine. Pi Zero mod is best thing for it.
Apologies in advance for the pedantry..... but they've put the button colors in the wrong order! The arcade cabinet has red->white->blue, not white->blue->red. What a mistake to make ;-)
I tought they were gonna use one of those sega genesis/megradrive-on-a-chip micro arcade chineses thingies as a base, seeing how they used the nes-on-a-chip ones for some of their stuff, but this does not seem to be that or android based, like their multi-game mini arcade cabinets. The loose joystick is arcade accurate if you were around back in the day when that game first came out to the arcades you would know. I want one
I'm imagining the loose stick would help with the light cabinet so you don't need too much force to work it and wind up moving the machine.
Decades ago 7/11s & moms & pops liquor stores are notorious for having the loosey goosey joysticks 🕹 I want 1!

Shame that neither this one, nor the superior New Wave Toys model has Hyper Fighting on it. Always great to see a lady who digs OG Street Fighter 👍.
How big is the screen tho
I think this is a steal at 50 bucks. It plays well. The joystick is loose, but it actually makes it easier to pull off moves quickly.

I like the fact you can take it off of widescreen, my Replicade can’t do that.
Loose joysticks are the best though. Makes combos easier
If only PC companies could make detachable joysticks and six-button layouts at the bottom of their keyboards,
I hate the WASD controls.
Saw these the other week, $50 is a little high I feel. $35 would be more reasonable.
At the very least something at that price point should have SUPER SF2 and a few other Capcom fighting games included in the cabinet.
I put the difficulty on a 1 and the game is still EXTREMELY hard! The difficulty doesn’t change absolutely anything!
