Correction: Rocas Pardida means "Brown Rocks" in Estonian. But, Rocas Partida means "Split Rocks" in Spanish. Once again I have failed my heritage.

Dude, World of Horror deserves a video just for the art style and presentation. It does a fantastic job capturing the Junji Ito aesthetic.
I don’t know if you take requests but I would recommend The Dark Eye. It’s a CD game from ‘96 or so that was born based on and inspired E.A. Poe stories. It has a unique and striking art style and also has some of the old multimedia jank/cheese you seem to enjoy. It suits your show.

It’s entertaining but it does get a little old. Some reviews are interesting on the other hand some are filled with broken English and clearly not something the reviewer even understood let alone came to a solid conclusion of their opinion.
I love the segment. It's a nice cathartic "everyone point and laugh at the moron" moment.

Same. Not only that, several gaming news websites that write top 50 point and click and/or adventure games from prior years don't even mention obscure games like Nightlong. There's another obscure game similar to Nightlong called "Legacy: Dark Shadows" and it took me a long while to find even the name of this game.

Hey, about the name of the mexican prision: If what I heard is "Rocas Perdida", it means "Lost rocks", but is missing the plural S at the end of the Perdida. Makes more sense for the name of the prision tho!

@@planescaped Actually it's funny this was brought up, last month I went through the suffering gauntlet and platinumed the game on PS4. It's still the worst game in the series for me but surprisingly I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Honestly, the whole "neural VR turned horrific science experiment" concept lends itself very much towards being some kind of mind control experiment, or at least lightly hypnotize the user.
Played the game back in the days with my father. Had a great Blade Runner vibe to it. The German version featured the German voice of Bruce Willis. Joshua and Bruce share the same haircut after all.. :) Replaying it after a lot of years I realize how bumpy the story is. It is developing way to fast ... still a nice game though ... lot's of memories :)

Love the vids! Been following for a while and have never been let down by your content Grim. But I gotta ask, what happened to the old style of almost ARG like vids where if you got in the mood you could legitimately see Grim Beard as this unstable dude making music, writing reviews and making videos on games he played when he was young? The whole unknown but obviously fucked up backstory and hints of what was and what's left. That stuff was amazing and incredibly unique but it was also the style in which I found you so I could just have rose tinted glasses. Not hating on the new vids, I like them - they're super relatable and enjoyable, the game choices are awesome imo but I gotta wonder if there's gonna be a comeback to the old style every now and then too?
