We couldn't be more thankful for Dennis and it was a true honor to have him in hunting camp. A lifelong friendship and memory was made no doubt about it.

We're really excited to see how the changes pay off here in a few short months! Hopefully, it's going to be an episode of Deer Season 22 on its own. Excitement is high around here to get the season rolling, it'll be here before we know it. Have a great 4th of July brother!
Ben Allgood, we're glad to hear that you enjoyed it. More coming down the pipeline along these same lines that we're excited to share. @@DruryOutdoors This winter, if I don't plow snow here in Vermont, would you have any work, maybe a weekend at first, then you would want to use me,I guarantee it.Id stay at a hotel, rent a truck to get to the farm, etc. I've done logging, I've done everything like I said in the previous comment. Roofing I can even repair roofs by myself I don't know I've done a lot of roofing a lot a lot a lot of shingles and a lot of rubber flat Roofing a lot of standing seam so I've done everything growing up on a farm does that to you. I just need to make now a few grand so I can get a vehicle I'm on Social Security and it doesn't pay much LOL, but I could use a couple weeks worth of work this winter for sure if you have it and would be willing that's what I would do is stay at a hotel and drive to the job work all day go back you know to the hotel Etc. If not it's cool I just thought I'd throw it out there something to keep in mind for this winter thank you for all the entertainment and the knowledge, and sometimes, happy tears

Chris Jones, please tell your mom we appreciate the support! We just released episode 5 of Deer Season '22, there's plenty of Wade in that one. Have a great weekend!
Something spooked that big deer away that was it the nine pointer so I wonder if the 8-pointer was coming and he smelt him or he knew he was in the area maybe but it seemed to me like the nine was spooked by something other than the people
Dan Fitzgerald has been selling something similar for 30 years... As a teenager (1990's) I saw this on his VHS tapes. He calls it VK and would pour it on large bait piles... when he got in his stand, he would dump large bottles of VK out. It was a scent destroyer and attractant. I of course purchased a small bottle, and it ran off every deer in the county... the whole bottom smelled like a vanilla milkshake and deer were blowing for days. After this incident I realized what they were doing with the bait piles.
Mark to improve the bedroom why don't you put a small one acre pond in that 7 Acres next to the river,? That way the deer don't have to leave the bedroom to get water, and I know the river is right there yes it is but once they're at the river they're out in the open if you give them a water source that's hidden and then somewhat of us occluded area like that 7 acre bedroom maybe even a half acre Pond just not even that big at all you know just big enough so they can it'll hold water long enough I don't know maybe I'm wrong but I think it it wouldn't hurt I don't believe
smjhobbies, that's a really good idea and we appreciate the suggestion! Secluded water and food is always a great idea when possible. Improving the habitat is always a work in progress 365 days year and it's one of our favorite aspects of the hunt.
