The Advanced Scientific Data Format (ASDF): An Update - Perry Greenfield | SciPy 2022

  • We outline the benefits of the ASDF format and the improvements made to its standard and the Python library we have developed to support it. The format is generic to all science and very extensible, with transparent metadata and structure. It currently is being used to support data from the James Webb and Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescopes.
