    This video is the only of its kind I’ve been able to find, and is super helpful. Have not had the same help with ninja customer service itself. Thank you!!!

    I can't believe this video how efficient it was all the trouble you went tbrough to make it. I'm in the market for a ninja right now so I've looked a certain videos and some of them have had $240,000 subscribers and they didn't do 1/10 the job that you did here. Thanks so much. You should definitely put a link so that people can use it to support you

    Thank you for the in-depth explanation of the pressure cooking side! I almost boxed my up and returned it to Sam's!! I think you are the only channel that has explained that the "sealing" side is in the "well" and the vent is ALL THE WAY UP AND OVER! Thank you. Have great day!

      I use this machine 5 times a week making lunches and dinner. Experiment and be creative. I have a bunch of cook videos coming up showing the versatility of this machine. Enjoy your unit.

    This is the best review I have seen and you have no idea how many I have watched. Thank you soooooo much! I have this for a couple days did my first meal today. I noticed it gets more pressure than the insta pot So may need to adjust recipes.

      There is a learning curve, but you get the hang of it pretty quick. Pressure cooker so much quicker than the Wolfgang Puck, especially when making things like stew where you have to stop and add ingredients during the cook. I have cut at least 1.5 hours with the Ninja as it comes up to pressure and release pressure so much quicker.

    Many complain about the difficulty in cleaning the lid and this may be true for earlier models. Unlike earlier models you can run a pressure and steam cycles with the one smart lid which melts away burned on grease. The thing actually self cleans.

      Completely agree, just bringing up some negatives I have read and discounting them as being not the case with this unit.

    Thanks for explaining that the pressure cook seal is in the well, and anything over the "hump" is venting. This should be made clearer in the manual imo.

    I think it’s not so much the loudness but the pitch, it’s the higher pitch sound that sounds a bit like a hair dryer or vacuum cleaner. Other air fryers are louder but have a low pitch sound that’s less annoying. I notice the noise of mine and it is annoying, but not a dealbreaker for me.

    I got the 701 when it first came out, (I have a shameful Ninja addiction) even with the price drop on the other models I'd still spend the 350 dollars and get this one. Everything it does is fantastic, I use it several times a week. Thank you for explaining air fryers, I never really understood how they work.

    Same except for the thermometer and the ability to to automatic pressure release when using the pressure cooker function. The OL601 came out first and the OL701 came out a few months later. By all means, the OL701 is worth it for the convenience/accurate cooks.

    I recently got the ol750eu, which is mostly like the 701 (but no sous vide), and I absolutely love it! My kids say the airfry sound is like a high pitched hair dryer, and one commented that it sounds like it's about to take off...

    • @rossishima
      @rossishima  2 года назад +2

      True it is a higher pitch; especially when it ramps up towards the end. The sound db is still under 70db, but the higher pitch makes it seem higher. Glad you like it, I use it many times every week.

      So that's what the 15 features vs 14 (EU) Features were about, now I know. Thanks :D
      Maybe sous vide didn't work with the European food safety standards, either way I wouldn't have used that anyhow.

      @@MerthanE That's one of the differences, because I've noticed a difference in the combi steam options too.

      @@MerthanE I think the sous-vide function was not as reliable as they made it out to be. Precision is extremely important in that kind of cooking.

      @@rossishima I don't overpay for those to be honest. I own a ninja oven, grill, air fry. I bought a corded thermostat from Costco to monitor my temps at cost for only $15. Ninja charges you $100+ for the bundle which comes with thermostat and added accessories, which is not worth the cost at all.

    • @michelewhite1956
      @michelewhite1956 Год назад +1

      The thermometer does more than just measure the temp of your food! It allows you to set a roast to finish at your preferred done level! Then it also auto releases the pressure valve! That includes partially allowing a natural release for a set time then it can switch to instant release (required in many recipes) and you don’t have to be there!
