You will LOVE the little hair coils. They are so much gentler on your hair, they keep everything up in place, and they last a lot longer than regular hair pulls or scrunchies.
I have really thick hair and I still break them. I don't really get the trend because I don't feel like they hold my hair as well as a normal elastic pony tail holder. They also slide out of my hair and i lose them, which is really frustrating when you pay 8$ for 4 of them. And I can't easily carry them around with me on my wrist, because they're too tight.
If they get too loose soaking them in warm water makes them bounce back. I have v thick hair so they wont hold pony tails up but they're amazing for buns.
A great way to remove makeup without the waste is to get a “makeup eraser”! It’s a microfiber face towel that only needs warm water to remove your makeup! Crazy but it works. Xoxo💋
I would be careful with microfibre cloths, they initially sound amazing because you’re not using makeup wipes or cotton pads, right? Sadly, no, microfibre clothes are terrible for the environment! They are not recyclable, and there have been studied that have suggested that they introduce micro plastics into the water when you use them! If you’re looking for a reusable alternative, muslin cloth is amazing for your skin, you can buy a metre/yard of it and cut it up into any number of shapes for face cloths or even cleaning cloths. A natural make up remover that is Greg is coconut oil, it clears and moisturises, but you can use any kind of cleanser you like and you just put them in the was when they’re dirty and their brand spanking New when they come out!
I get two microfiber towels from dollar tree for a dollar and usually rub an oil or cream cleanser into dry skin and remove with a warm microfiber. Everything comes off. It doesn’t tug at my face.

Instead of using disposable cotton rounds you can get a pack of washable ones from Amazon that you can just toss in the washing machine and reuse! They're kind of expensive up front, but I've been using mine for a year, so they've already paid for themselves!

You can buy a pack of 4 washable rags for like 11 dollars on amazon. I use it all the time and it actually works! Even takes off eye makeup. Just look up makeup microfiber clothes on amazon. Would love if all the ads were at the beginning instead of having any at the end. I assume you make more by having the ads in both places, but I'll also note that I would watch this every single night for a year of there were no ads at the end. :) Thank you so much!
I think makeup remover is better than nothing (if you're extremely gentle and don't "scrub"), but you'll still be left with some residue and makeup on your face. Maybe after getting most of your makeup off with the remover, you can do a quick wash in another sink in the house and wont't have to worry about getting the sink dirty with tons of makeup! Just wanted to share my thoughts as a skincare freak 😂

i have one of those plastic bobbles around my wrist right now :) i also have pretty thin hair but it keeps it tight and stable and the best part is they don't leave a huge bump in your hair, even after hours of having it in a ponytail, u can take it down and it's barely noticeable that u had it up !! love them (also love u maria)

The hair tie coils are amazing. They last so long and they don't leave kinks in your hair and they don't get tangled in your hair constantly. Love them.
Those hair ties are so good. Tip for you! They do stretch out if you have worn them for a while. Put them in a cup, pour boiling water on them and they go right back as they were brand new.

I felt off using cotton pads as well. When I was at the shops I found microfiber face and body cloths, I put the makeup remover on that to clean my face. I wash them regularly and clean them with nappy sand about once a month to give them a deep clean. They work really well!

1, I lovvvvveee haul videos too!! Especially yours! 2, those coil scrunches are my favorite. I have thick hair and it’s the only thing that doesn’t leave a “hair tie line” if my hair is styled and I decide to put it up. If you happen to stretch them out, heat will shrink them back to original size. I usually just leave them in the bathroom while I shower, I’ve even seen someone put it in a pot of hot (not boiling) water on the stove. 3, I can’t live without makeup remover. In my opinion, for me, it’s less abrasive to remove it then cleanse my face. 4, please do an updated nail care video! Your nails are literal perfection.

Thanks Maria, that was so pleasant! I do use hair coils, my hair is thick, wiry and wavy and scrunchies slide right off, but the coils keep in place. Depends on the material, though, I had once some made from the very tough plastic and they did not last long. Anyway, admiring your ability to stay so groomed up around a baby, I was usually a mess :o)
Maria! Just your presence is so lovely, calming, and fills me with warmth. This is going to sound weird, but even just thinking about what a good mom you must be brings a tear to my eye :) A micellar water is a good, somewhat gentle option if you need to remove your makeup silently without turning on the water. When you do have the ability to run the faucet, instead of using soap which is very drying and harsh on your skin, I'd highly recommend a makeup cleansing oil or balm. They're specifically designed to break down all makeup really effectively, emulsify with water, and rinse off clean. They honestly changed my life! Clinique Take The Day Off Balm is really good, but there are so many out there.

The warm water trick works. But they're never as tight as the first use.

2, those coil scrunches are my favorite. I have thick hair and it’s the only thing that doesn’t leave a “hair tie line” if my hair is styled and I decide to put it up. If you happen to stretch them out, heat will shrink them back to original size. I usually just leave them in the bathroom while I shower, I’ve even seen someone put it in a pot of hot (not boiling) water on the stove.
3, I can’t live without makeup remover. In my opinion, for me, it’s less abrasive to remove it then cleanse my face.
4, please do an updated nail care video! Your nails are literal perfection.

That makeup remover is my holy grail!! It’s amazing, and it lasts forever! I have such bad luck of spilling it, but it still lasts months... I think you’ll like it a lot.
Thanks Maria, that was so pleasant! I do use hair coils, my hair is thick, wiry and wavy and scrunchies slide right off, but the coils keep in place. Depends on the material, though, I had once some made from the very tough plastic and they did not last long. Anyway, admiring your ability to stay so groomed up around a baby, I was usually a mess :o)

A micellar water is a good, somewhat gentle option if you need to remove your makeup silently without turning on the water. When you do have the ability to run the faucet, instead of using soap which is very drying and harsh on your skin, I'd highly recommend a makeup cleansing oil or balm. They're specifically designed to break down all makeup really effectively, emulsify with water, and rinse off clean. They honestly changed my life! Clinique Take The Day Off Balm is really good, but there are so many out there.
