First of all, I love your sketching, and thanks for great advice and good drawing ideas! I'm just the same as you, @entropiembrace. I have a couple of sketching books, but even though I know that I even do not have to show it to anyone I am struggling to get started. But, as you say, to get better I know that I have to start drawing and not be so hard on myself. With practice it will get better 🙂 I drew a lot when I was a child, but at some point I did not think it was good enough, so I stopped and turned to calligraphy for a while.
Thank you much for watching and glad you enjoyed the video. Always keep sketching. If it helps to get the sketchbooks started, take the first page and just scribble. That takes the worry out. I have done that before. Calligraphy is great. I can't do that. My calligraphy is bad. lol!😁👍

I think that I'll just do that, scribble on the first page, put some lettering inbetween 🙂 I have to admit that I stopped doing calligraphy after a while too for the same reason, but I still think that I'm better on lettering than drawing. The sketchbooks are for no use just lying there and collect dust, so I'll get them and start scribbling 😀
You will have good and bad sketchs but it dosen't matter in sketch book as your space to get better, quick ideas, sketching full things and so much more the is no limit on what you can do :D
Thank you I bought a nice notebook I’ve been too scared to “ruin” with my drawings that arnt “perfect”, but I’ll never make progress if I don’t draw at all. Time to ruin this notebook!
I just want to say that there are just my opinions. You can use a sketchbook for whatever you want. What do you feel about sketchbooks?

That's right. There's freedom on these sketchbook pages. Anything can be done. 👍😁
