First of all, I love your sketching, and thanks for great advice and good drawing ideas! I'm just the same as you, @entropiembrace. I have a couple of sketching books, but even though I know that I even do not have to show it to anyone I am struggling to get started. But, as you say, to get better I know that I have to start drawing and not be so hard on myself. With practice it will get better 🙂 I drew a lot when I was a child, but at some point I did not think it was good enough, so I stopped and turned to calligraphy for a while.

Thank you I bought a nice notebook I’ve been too scared to “ruin” with my drawings that arnt “perfect”, but I’ll never make progress if I don’t draw at all. Time to ruin this notebook!

You will have good and bad sketchs but it dosen't matter in sketch book as your space to get better, quick ideas, sketching full things and so much more the is no limit on what you can do :D

I just want to say that there are just my opinions. You can use a sketchbook for whatever you want. What do you feel about sketchbooks?

I think the made in China are fakes.

Thats always thing when thinking what's best place for your art stuff somewhere is not in way and easy to access when you do need it. I am sure i have looked at something like that before but it too was big XD

I'm your new subscriber, you draw very well in the style of my little ponny, I've already found more designers like you doing these larger quantities of characters, I also do projects with these larger quantities of characters, I'm even doing the one with 10,000 characters, I'm still in 6,600, I'm even doing a tribute to Roblox (if you don't know Roblox, it's a game that is famous all over the planet), I added the first Roblox characters, most of the Roblox skins and I'm still going to add Roblox RUclipsrs. Well, can you upload the character on RUclips too?

Is always worth trying something new for characters can be alot fun ^_^

Keep up the good work. There are times that freeware is better than the paid subscriptions.

It's always great to see bright colours in the studio :-) I have never quite understood what anyone possibly could get out of commenting nasty things to an art or crafting video other than showing off his or her envy. Wow, I feel like I can relate to this so much. I've been piecing a manga together since grade 11, but never have started it because it's too intimidating. I really commend you for showing off what you've been working on for so many years, it looks great! You should deffinetly pursue it. Makes me consider revisiting my story 😃

For me, starting something new requires me being at the right mental state, it boosts my start with motivation and better ideas that comes along with higher interest. If i force myself to start something when i dont feel like it I will face burnout before even doing it too. Because of this, I think its ok to procrastinate and looking at similar ideas for inspiration helps me get into that right mental state too - I usually dont rush through this part and take the time to understand how i want to execute my ideas through this step.

Omg I love the Black Cauldron, I grew up reading all the books in the series. It was one of my favorite books. The movie wasn't that great but the books are amazing!!

I think the pose turned out great and I love the coloring. The piece in whole is awesome!!
