Hey JD saw you in Denver. You were so gracious and kind outside. Plus you played your ass off at the show. Thanks
Hey bub! That was me in Iowa City with my son. We LOVED your show... Sumner is still buzzing. We'll keep an eye out for Claire. Stay cool!
BTW, next time through we'll hook you up with our friend Craig Kessler who runs an incredible jazz record store. Can is one of my personal favorite bands. All the love!
Certain players I watch, no matter the scenario, practicing or performing, acoustic or electric, this style or that, just illicit the “that’s what it’s all about” sentiment in me that makes me wanna pick it up and try to go for something real with all my heart. You are certainly one of those and I’m grateful you share your gift with us. Blessings to you and yours.
Great to hear from you, JD!
❤Incredible!❤
Loooove the glasses! Come to Europe!
slide sounds fantastic
Man that Can record is amazing! Was the first one by them i heard. Good taste matey! Love from the UK
That first note you played on the slide took me right into Boomer's Story. Sweet gitfiddle man!
Sounds awesome! I just took possession of a 1932 Martin OM 28 in exceptional condition. It is stunning, I just wish I could play as well as you!
Great to see you. Glad things are going well. Always looking forward.👍✌️
Dude, Busy's good.
Hey JD, for a future gear rundown if you have time, I’m curious how you keep your action/neck relief etc, especially as it relates to switching between normal and slide playing. Thanks!!
Man that's a dope guitar, that slide playing was beautiful! Hope you can come back to Pittsburgh soon!
So nice to see you back with some grease my friend! You’re a goat in my opinion
Caught you at Dakota in MN twice and you had bass players. When you and Adam get cooking it's fun to watch! Especially at the Dakota.
Thanx JD... you are an inspiration
A wee solo record of acoustic stuff like you were doing in the intro would be unreal! Really beautiful playing 🙏
Always dug your vibe man. Wish you well. Cheers from New England.
That Miles album 'A Tribute To Jack Johnson' first side 'Right Off' ....... John McLaughlin is effing amazing as he opens up the track. Great guitar and overdriven amp tone reminiscent of his friend Jeff Beck.
Need a coffee rig rundown! I use an Aeropress & Timemore when I travel.
Hey JD! Sounding killer! I have an old Martin like this and I can never get the strings right. Do you mind telling me what type of strings you have on that?
Listening to Oz Noy?
