New to skip rope. Nearly 60! Was great! Did the whole thing although messed up a lot halfway through skip whilst brain kicked into gear for the step change - that’ll be my age then - reckon will be good for my brain too!!😅

Personally need the adds for an extra 4 second break and being a beginner to skip rope 😅 that’ll be my age though (59) can imagine young ones hating it though. You get what you pay for though - pay for it and you won’t get them. I am very grateful for the free, if interrupted workout.
none of us are symmetrical and that's okay. You can use a mirror to make small adjustments, but just keep going and naturally your less dominate side will become stronger and more fluent.
This is an awesome workout. I only burned 55 active calories. But I think my watch underestimates a bit. When I had my Apple Watch it showed I burned 150 calories. I had to stop a few times for like 10 seconds of extra rest because I am a beginner. My goal is to do this workout it with highest intensity without tripping by over my rope or taking extra breaks.
@@ShaneJoshua1980 just keep going for me i maintained the basics move done it repeatedly eventhough its a bit boring (not expert doing fancy move) and increased pace gradually. Its increased the heartbeat and make you sweat like hell. Mindset is the ultimate key

I wouldn’t do that workout again way too many ads during it… It really breaks the flow of the workout. I understand you need to make a buck but please not several ad breaks during the workout

How do you keep going, I can box skip, regular bounce and cross over but I lose my form and do about 30 secs - 1 mom before tripping it's so annoying.

My favourite absolute beginner so far is the 10 minute beginner with jared in the parking lot, this one is a little too intense for a beginner imo.
