Really nice discussion. Im a 22 year old CVICU nurse who also went to school for nursing since it was fiscally responsible. Though i found my love for perfusion in nursing and am going to become a perfusionist, i think i would have went to PA school if i even knew it existed as a kid.

Thats great! I was a CP ICU nurse for six years before becoming an NP, and my goal was either CRNA or perfusionist. One of my many life blunders was not pursuing one of those other paths. Best of luck to you!
