You just saw one of the greatest live performances of all time , and it came at the end of a two hour concert. He really is one of the best singers of all time and has been praised by Tom Jones and Freddy Mercury . He is a funny man and a genuinely lovely soul . Hes currently recovering from a cancerous tumor removal from his jaw . We all are praying for his recovery . Check out John with Anthony Warlow in Grenada and his duet with Olivia Newton John , Please dont ask me. You will have another joyist reaction for sure.

Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't the end of this particular recorded concert. This was the last song of this particular encore. You see him on the DVD going backstage after singing this song and listening to the cheers of the crowd. After the crowd and some of the orchestra started cheering 'Sadie, Sadie', he came back on stage again for another encore and sang Sadie and finished with 'It's a Long Way to the Top (if you want to Rock and Roll)'. Quite a few people think it was the last song though! :-)
Not from 1966, this was filmed in 1988 on john's whispering jack tour..
This performance was the last song from his 2.5hr concert..
He's truly amazing, a legend & icon of Australian music..
You won't see anyone else sing like John!!!..

I meant when I was young I brought his first hit song ..*sadie* He has had so many struggles in life .I am 70 years old and have followed his amazing life .he is one an amazing person so is his amazing wife also
"Whispering Jack". The nickname given to him by a sound technician after he blew out the preamps in 3 separate microphones in a row because his acoustic voice was so powerful.

Thanks for the amazing reaction ladies. This guy is known as the voice down under, his voice is just something else isn’t it. This song which is a Beatles cover was the last song of a long concert and he still slayed it

When you hear this your mind will be blown.
I have been a fan of John’s since his career started in the 60s. It was announced in the middle of 2022 that John had mouth cancer and he underwent almost 12 hours of surgery to remove it along with part of his jaw. John has a long journey of recovery ahead and is not expected to sing again. However, we are just grateful that he is still with us and we have the legacy of his music to still enjoy. We are very proud of our John. This film clip has become one of the most requested to be reacted to and i am so glad that the world is finally catching up with John’s career. With best wishes from Down Under 😘💕🇦🇺.

John Farnham is a technically brilliant singer. When I see voice coaches review his music, they are astounded by his technical abilities. And, of course, as you said, he poures his heart into his music.

It is so lovely seeing you enjoy The Voice. His first song in 1967 when he was a teenager. Hes about 40 here.
I'm 53 and Australian. We grew up with him and we love him. There are so many beautiful songs. I highly recommend you find some more of his stuff. He's unwell at the moment, but he was still singing into his late 60s and was just as good. Check out him singing with Jimmy Barnes and Diesel. Also with Olivia Newton Jonn, Celine Dion and many more. I love When The War Is Over, Burn For You, When Something Is Wrong With My Baby. But there are so so many more. Also many great Australian singers from 80s and early 90s. Try Australian Crawl - James Reyne song Reckless, Cold Chisel - Jimmy Barnes - Flame Trees, Ian Moss from Cold Chisel - Tuckers Daughter, Neil and Tim Finn from crowded House and Split Enz (actually they are From NZ), Jon Stevens and Noiseworks - Take Me Back (also NZ), Tina Arena - Chains, Kate Cebrano - Bedroon Eyes or Everythings Alright with John Farnham...

This is Australia's 'King of Sing'. John Farnham has a big vocal range, sings in over 20 genres, has a career spanning 6 decades and is a consummate showman and loved by Australians. There are lots more videos of him on You Tube and every one is wonderful. (He is not in any way 'female'.)

Johns career started about 1966 as Johnnie Farnham...... his then manager conned him into singing the worst type of Pop, but many years later Glyn Wheatley became his manager and changed all that. lol
John Farnham is ok. The lady in blue had me mesmerised. Love the eyes.
