It might happen. My theory is Zeke and Michaela are Twin Flames they are spiritual Journey the callings. The Gemini Petrograph Michaela and Zeke both feeling guilty of lost of love one. Twin Flames can lead you to Soulmate which I believe is Jared. But if Twin Flames work it's the greatest love you can have. Many Zeke fans believe that Jared is antagonist. I believe the wolf calling with Zeke was Jared. What would be the point of killing Zeke off. He survived his death date and Michaela wanting to survive to be with Zeke.
