It's a pity, nobody walks into marriage thinking of divorce as the end result. However divorce cannot happen if there's no marriage, so marriage opens a lot of room for unfortunate circumstances to come in. It's inevitable. But it depends on how the couple decides to navigate their own storms. Major secrets of a long lasting marriage is Tolerance, patience and forgiveness and lots of forgiveness of some unthinkable behaviors from both partners. Back then marriages lasted because women wanted to keep their home and cover up the challenges. Even if it meant sacrificing their happiness. Our generation aren't ready for this discussion because everything is advanced now and marriage has lost its value. Imagine counting anniversaries and pretending to be happy? Marriages are in trouble. Men and women should respect their vows, it's not that difficult now. For men, know that it's no longer business as usual. Nowadays women are not built to endure your cheating or abuse of any kind. They will move on.
