The father was cautioned, and the groom begged for forgiveness. They told him to cancel the event, and a family elder was assigned to the matter so the due process is followed. The father also insinuated that his son has a precedent. He already has a 5-year-old child with another woman, and the family are the ones responsible for the child. Another crucial part is that the groom’s parents divorced 27 years ago, and it was his mother that followed him. What I deduced from the conversation is that the groom probably grew up with his mom and is not as close, hence the reason for going about it this way (I might be wrong about this). Some people have this crazy idea of their self worth irrespective of the tribe, those family are just full of their selves. Even if Wofa is from Yoruba land and the family does not want her , they will still reject such guy or lady because pompous entities as long as you are not in their circle irrespective of the tribe even if the lady is Yoruba, Igbo they will frustrate such person.
