An important part is that the British Isles were invaded many times by other nations first. The British learned that conquest will mean you change the countries to your ways and traditions. English law foundations and the English language dominates the world. British sports are the most played sports on Earth. 1. Football. 2. Cricket. 3. Rugby. 4. Tennis. 5. Golf. 6. Table Tennis. 7. Same I was impressed,I don't mean to sound rude but alot of Americans I see doing reaction videos are Clueless, but this guy knowing about some Indians wanting to fight for the crown surprised me,I'd like to see him react to Britain's war on the slave trade that'd be interesting
Good Reaction, My Friends and it's obvious you know your History well, now. As a Londoner and Englishman, perhaps,we overdid our little excursions but we wrote The Magna Carta in 1215. Had the Second and Third earliest modern Universities 600 years ago and formed "The Mother Of All Parliaments" over 500 years ago and invented the majority of the World's inventions until around 70 years ago. We even, more recently, invented The Worldwide Web which we are using:)
Weren't in Britain with us to greet the Romans with our butt cheeks and shout rude things at them in the original British language though - message from Wales - still here to remind you that the little excursions started in these islands
Bro out of all the americans I've seen react to this type of stuff who just haven't got a clue you seem to know your shit I'll give you that, much love from England 👊
Thanks for the reaction bro💯👍 Another great video is ‘what is the difference between Great Britain, England and The UK explained’ it’s more than the video’s title it goes into more details too and it’s a short video so I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too bro ❗️💯
I believe they missed counties out too, I’m English and I believe They forget to mention that the English mainly dominated and invaded the Scottish and Welsh who were separate countries with their own respective dialect, before we became a United island and they spoke English. I think they also forgot the Falkland’s..and Malta 1940’s, Albania 1939 to attack occupying Italian ports (unsure about this one being an invasion) and the Korean war 1950, where over 81,000 British soldiers were sent their with the Americans. We also invaded morocco and Algeria in 1943, so the true number should actually be around 125/26 not 117. And for people who wonder how we achieved a lot, being so small… as-well as our experience of war and advances in technology, much credit goes to John Harrison a self taught watch maker who invented the marine chronometer, solving the problem of calculating longitude while at sea. It changed sea navigation forever.
Many of the countries were invaded "privately" and against the will of the government who didn't think they could manage it (but were happy to take taxes). The East India Company basically was an out of control company that even the gov was worried about.
@dennetlane2870 lol you are though "sweetheart"! Lmao 🤣 😆 😂 Africans have so little time for Americans whatever their skin colour...for very good reason.

Remarkable isn't it that such a tiny country like Great Britain can do so much, and all at the same time in many cases?

There are loads of countries missed off this list Cambodia, Laos, Monaco, Argentina, Uruguay, Mali, Portugal just thinking of a few
The cobination of a strong navy fleet plus dissaplined open field battle techniques that made us so dominant, both where revelutional at that time.

Go back to school. They ended slavery
They literally have Sex slaves in China as we speak
Slavery still exists. You're not half as smart as you like to think.
