Triplets is actually my #1 for the reasons you listed! It’s the only one that *shocked* me, and as someone who’s been going since 2014 that was a refreshing feeling lol. For the Q&A, I have two questions: 1.) Do they put a cap on Stay and Scream capacity? I usually like to get there at around 4:45 so I don’t have to wait too long, but I’m worried with how big the event has gotten that they’ll close it off early. 2.) Staying at Portofino for the first time! What’s the best/easiest way to get to the park?
Great hype list vid Liz! As usual, we are seeing eye to eye on many things this year. We may not be exact on rankings but our thought process is pretty much the same on things in general. I totally agree about that stupid canned scream that they use in the streets. It needs to go!!! See you in the fog my friend 🧡🎃🖤
@DiscoLiz 😊 There are more than a few street sounds that they use seemingly every year, and I cringe almost every time I hear them. They really need an overall new approach to the street program. It's much too cookie-cutter/ copy and paste every year for my liking. Then, the changes they do make are questionable, such as a house dump into San Fran. Did they forget why they stopped doing that? Lastly, its a bit sad that they need canned scream sounds in the streets to begin with.
Oh my gosh Liz!! That lip color is amazing on you 🥳 I hope I get to run into you again this spooky season, as well as your friend Jessica! Her, her husband, and son are just so kind and I enjoyed watching our favorite bird stilt actor last year together 😂 But our hype lists are very similar lmao scarezones Blumhouse is at my bottom, and my number one is Torture Faire. Houses though I have a toss up of the Eternal Bloodlines and Musuem house as my first one. All the IPS are my bottom three: I’m like you give me an original house or give me death 😂
Thank you, Kristin! And yesss - can't wait to be back out in the fog! Birb was the best, as always. Sounds like we're very much aligned on our thoughts so far.
I've been pretty out of the loop this year, but still super excited to get into these houses and scarezones, and to just have a great time in the fog! We're so close now! 🔥🎃🔥
Saving the RIP Hype List episode for our drive down but had to watch this episode 🫣. I kind of already know Tim and G’s but super excited to listen to that episode. We have the 6 house tour but might try and catch the 3 house tour if the wife and I like the houses and we can fit it into the schedule. Great episode.
Great hype video! I have a 3-house tour booked and I am stoked. I actually called Universal with a question earlier this week, and the wonderful TM I talked to asked me if I wanted to know which houses we will be going to, and I was so excited when she told me! This is my first HHN ever, and although I’m a big horror fan, I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to in-person haunted house type scares so I’m hoping the lights-on tour will get me prepped for the event. Either way, I love the art of set decorations and theater so I am incredibly hyped to walk through what are basically horror movie sets. 🎉 I can’t wait to see your content this HHN season!
Yessss - that 3-house Tour sounds AMAZING! Definitely want to go! Oh man, your first time?! AMAZING! Honestly, HHN is more about the sets, effects, and costuming than the scares these days, so I think it's much easier for first-timers than it used to be!
Really glad I stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago. I’ve been following the RIP Tour guide podcast for a bit now and recognized your voice! Traveling down from Ohio for opening weekend of HHN. My #1 hyped house is Sweets… I really hope it doesn’t suck 😂
I still need to listen to the podcasts but as of now my hype list is 1. Slaughter Sinema 2-I loved the first one so much, I hope this one can be as good too! 2. Goblins 3. Eternal bloodlines 4. Museum 5. Major sweets 6. Triplets 7. Quiet place 8. Monstruos 9. Ghostbusters 10. Insidious I’m very excited for the food menus too, I’m hoping they’ll come out soon! My husband and I love to go thru the menus together and pick out what we want to try 🤤 Looking forward to all your spooky content and hope I can see you in the fog at some point!
Love your t-shirt! My scare zone hype list is the same as yours and my house hype list is very similar. I have Sweets at 4th spot which puts goblins at 6 and triplets at 5 but otherwise the same. I love history and museums so that's why Museum is the top for me!😊 What tips would you give to someone taking a scary cat to the event for the first time?x
@@kazmc6244 I was a Scaredy-cat in 2019 (went in 1998 as a horror fan and left terrified and swore I’d never return) and I asked Liz the same question. Her response was perfect, so I will let her answer that in her upcoming video. And, now I’m hooked…I bought the Ultimate Frequent Fear this year and I go solo now.
@@ShannaBelle83 Thanks. That's amazing! Not sure my mum is gonna love it but at least she is giving it a go, well to be honest we have all sorta pushed her into it 😂
For the Q&A: Do you, or have you ever collected the HHN special plastic light up cups? When was attending HHN regularly that was my take home souvenir. A while back, I don't know where I heard it, but I remember someone saying that Universal was considering bringing the Bill and Ted show back? Have you heard anything from the rumor mill? Thanks! (This is the only 2 weeks of summer I want to speed up 👻)
For Q and A (lots of questions, no worries if you don’t get to all/any): (1) Since you have been going to the event since 2001 (my first time to Orlando’s event was last year), what has been the best and worst change/trend you’ve seen since you started going to now? (2) Looking at all the past houses, the house I wish I could go through is the Wyandot Estate house-assuming you went through it, can you describe what the scare beneath the floor looked like, felt like? I can’t find any good footage of that scare in action and it seems so awesome and something they wouldn’t do nowadays. (3) Do you think they will ever try to do a Scream house again considering the difficulties they experienced the last time they tried to do it? I would love to see that IP at the event. (4) Hollywood is my home park, and have been going to that event the last few years-have you ever been to HHN Hollywood or ever have any desire to? I understand that the event is different/smaller budget, but I actually preferred some of the IP houses in Hollywood to Orlando’s last year (ie The Last of Us) and the originals are getting better each year (ie Monstrous) . So, interested to see a Orlando die-hard’s perspective. Thanks for all the videos-and love the podcast as well! I’ll be in Orlando in September so if I see you in the fog, I’ll be sure to say hello :)
Hey bestie! I would like to ask you, in your opinion, how do you think this year will differ from last year or previous years for someone just getting into HHN (1st or 2nd time) and what is the best piece of advice you could give to maximize their time?
