- Drone fishing for big snapper at Uretiti Beach, Northland NZ using the AEE Condor Fishing Drone with Newton 3 release clip, hauled in with a Daiwa Tanacom 1000 electric fishing reel. We started the day running our usual spin reel set ups and caught a few good snapper fishing out between 600 and 800m, the bigger fish were sitting out slightly further as we found out on the next cast.
Kerry, one of our customers, brought along his Daiwa Tanacom electric reel for us to cast out for him as he was nervous about using it for the first time. We cast six hooks out 900m and hooked up two great snapper only seconds after the baits hit the water, the drone was still on the way back in!
This was Paul's final fishing trip now that he has passed away, so it was a special day for all that attended. We are continuing on with our fishing demos and videos, so be sure to subscribe to our channel and to our newsletter at www.fishingtacklesale.co.nz if you haven't already.

What a fitting tribute to actually see the man in his element doing the one thing he loved so much. He'll be missed for a long time but remembered forever.
it was a pleasure to know him, to use his inventions, and accept all the advice he so freely gave.
Paul was a great guy. A legend. Condolences to his family and everyone who knew him.
I’d watched a few of Paul’s older vids and then this one. Glad he got to have a great session.
I am in shock, I had to pause this video. I am from Trinidad and Tobago. This man tought me so much, kite fishing, drone fishing things I never thought was possible in fishing. A true pioneer in the fishing sport. What a great teacher. I am saddened today.
Rest in Peace to Paul Barnes. A true legend in Kite Fishing

Hello, great video, greetings from Spain, I also fish with my drone, I am from a town called Barbate on the Costa de la Luz.
RIP Paul. Taking my Condor out on Tuesday hopefully for its third session. Yet to catch anything, hopefully this time!
Were you guys using Mullet for bait?
What area are you fishing? Yes we were using fresh mullet
@@paulsfishingsystems I'm in Brisbane so a little bit further North!
Hello I wanted to know please but you put the wire on the glider and stop the glider at top speed and it does not fall?
The release runs on tension, as soon as you stop the line with the drone flying forward it will release.
Wow he didn’t seem so old! I hope it’s not inappropriate, but how did he pass?
Suddenly and without too much pain.
It is interesting but it is important to know the price, because of the risk that is run by the winds at sea, how many meters you send them with safe return
Thank you,
Eduardo - Jerusalem
Those wives always keep moaning lol
