Basically you shouldn’t apply retinol to areas where the skin is thin (I avoid my eye area completely). So before I apply my retinoid I will apply Vaseline to the corners of my mouth, to the sides of my nose and the outer corners of my eyes to protect these areas and not cause any irritation. I also never apply retinol in the morning as it makes your skin more sensitive to UV rays 😊
I ate a rotisserie chicken last night for dinner and I woke up this morning with a different face. Puffy and swollen and my eyes looked terrible. My body does not like all that sodium.
I can’t stand this Doctor. She is a hack. The way she introduced her product line is questionable in terms of business practices. I stopped following her over a year ago
Why can't she plug her own product? She obviously believes in it, that's why she created it. There's absolutely nothing unethical about it, she didn't claim any neutrality - it's her personal opinion. She also has products that speak to every other category in the myths, but she featured other brands in those spaces. What's more lots of people have used her advice, myself included, and benefitted from it. So why do you say she's a hack? Without receipts, it just sounds bitter.
I’ve been following Dr Idriss for a long time. Her advice is great and her videos make you feel like you are hanging with your bestie. She’s great!

I think she was talking about (“kiss of death area”) around the mouth.
What area is "the kiss of death" area she referred to with retinol?
Around the eyes Where we have the most sensitive skin on our face
It’s the mouth area (above the lips, sides of mouth)
