Out of all the inversion tables, back stretchers, hanging on the pull-up bar, and many other things... This is the only thing that absolutely alleviates my lower back pain. It seems counterintuitive to massage a trigger point right above the butt and think that it's going to remove the lower back pain, but it is the only thing that actually does remove the lower back pain. No matter how much I massage my lower back and press on the knot and trigger point press the knot too it stays there and it hurts. But when I push on the trigger point right above the butt, not the ones on the sides, I have instant relief and now my sister has started doing this too and she is getting instant relief as well. Thank you for this video it's the only one I've been able to find that actually points to these particular trigger points and states that they will remove lower back pain. Thank you.
It sucks. Its hard for me to sit down for 5 mins and its frustrating when i wake up in the morning. Its just uncomfortable for all day long.

Can the medius gluteus muscle cause siatica pain?
Hi BB,
Gluteus medius trigger points can mimic elements of sciatic pain. It could have some influence on the overall mechanism because of its stability function around the pelvis, but the muscle does not overlie the scitic nerve as piriformis does.

@@mohamedanouar9363 There was no single event that caused it. although it started hurting after i started playing soccer again after a couple months of no exercise. it only hurts when I play hard and kick the ball with all my strength.
