One of the greatest ideas I've seen tough to cut through the thick ones. And that's exactly what you need

Stary, spoglądam na Twoje filmy już od jakiegoś czasu i nie byłbym w stanie wykonać nawet 1/20 tego, co Ty wykonujesz. Wieelki szacunek za włożony trud i za super efekty końcowe. No i dziękuję za dobrą reklamę Polaków :)

Хочу попробовать сделать так для кошения травы а шину по вертикали и на колеса. Полагаю заброшенные огороды чистить в самый раз. А то наши кулибины к пиле мастерят прибомбасы, а почему самой не пилить, косить.

The problem with trimmers is the fact that you can only cut up to a certain thickness. Some of my shrubs have thicker limbs. I've been researching how to make an attachment for my grinder. yours is easier and cheaper and will be perfect for my Dewalt 20v chainsaw. Thanks for the idea.

    EXCELLENT!
A brilliant addition to a chainsaw!
For a small amount of money, some material, time and skills, removes the need to buy a hedge trimmer.

I don't care how practical this is, it involves welding, a chainsaw, and cutting bushes. A+ in my book.

That is a Great & Simple Idea, Conifer can be slow Cutting & Hedge trimmers also very Slow, Or Can't handle anything more than a Small Twigg,
My Advice is to Get a Patent on it, Maybe it could go into garden tools Production

We have similar very tough hedges, and those dinky "comb" trimmers don't do anything. They don't grow as fast but still doing them by hand is a pain. Thanks for the awesome mod idea. I'm going to make one soon :)

You're right, you could just buy a hedge trimmer but they only get you so far. They can only handle so much so fast and up to a certain size. This hack is definitely a really good one. It's faster and more effective then a normal hedge trimmer and you can use it for bigger brush as well as a few other jobs.

You could drill and bolt each cross piece without welding. But it would be a pain to undo it to use it as a chain saw again. His design is much better in that respect. I'll do mine his way.

Spróbuj zmniejszyć szczelinę miedzy ostrzem łańcucha a tymi grzebieniowymi zębami. Przystawkę należałoby obrócić o 180 stopni tak żeby ten płaskownik łączący był na zewnatrz. Powinno wtedy efektywniej docinać gałązki. Pozdrawiam.

That has real potential for hacking tall hedges and bushes down to size. Standard hedge trimmers cant cope with thick branches and chain saws just pull the branch back which tends to jam or flick off the chain.....I've done it. You end up having to use loppers or a Sawzall which is soooo slow. That hybrid design looks like it would cope with large branches nicely....turn my 3 metre hedge back into a 1.5 metre hedge in one easy pass. I might just make one of them....
