Regarding the first case of Asha, I immediately couldn't get my mind off the theory she was possibly groomed and taken by a teacher who worked at the same school she attended. Hopefully the police looked into it and cleared it. But it would make sense given the fact they're sure the book wasn't hers but was from her schools library. Plus the new kids on the block shirt could've been something more relevant to an older individual rather than herself and that's why it was also found.

Exactly what I was thinking. I think someone in her school, or possibly her school bus driver, groomed her and lured her away.

I've been by her billboard, it's still up. I believe either the bus driver, because she was walking that route, or an adult convinced her to leave, and he had brought clothing for her to wear or bought on the way. Her bag was found 30 miles away so she wasnt killed immediately. They should look into all the adults at the school who had access. They couldve brought the book from school for her to read in the car.

Asha Degree’s case is one of the strangest and most disturbing cases that I have ever come across. What would motivate a young girl to walk in the rain in the early hours of the morning, and then sprint into the dark woods after being spotted? Was she meeting someone by that shed in the dark during a heavy downpour? That seems unlikely, but maybe that was just a detour she took after being seen by the two drivers, and then she possibly met up with someone after that. Or maybe she did run away for whatever reason, and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and met her demise by being picked up by the wrong stranger. Overall though, it just doesn’t make any sense. Heartbroken for her family. Looks like she would’ve aged into a wonderful and beautiful young woman. 😔

@@beck1830 Sleepwalking would have explained her long and unbothered walk at night when it was raining, but her running away into the woods works against it. If she was indeed sleepwalking, she would have continued going her way as if nothing was going on. Or, if she was awakened by the strangers, she would have stood disoriented for a moment or two. Running into the woods suggest being awake. However, I'm no psychologist or expert on sleepwalking, so I might be wrong on that one.

To me, it sounds like Asha Degree was sleepwalking. Imagine how creepy it was when my dad woke up about 3am one night to the sounds of someone playing our pinball machine in the basement directly below my parents’ room. Not one light had been turned on indicating either myself or my younger siblings had come down to the main level and then gone down to the basement, nor would we at 12, 9 and 6. Darkness, basements, kids, etc. My dad reached the bottom of the stairs and at the opposite end of the pitch-black basement was my 6 year-old brother, up on a stool with his hands on the flipper buttons and all the game lights flashing and ringing loudly. Never in a million years would he have done that knowingly and my dad didn’t want him to wake up and realize he had. My dad softly said, “Hey bud, time for bed.”He replied, “It’s broken.” and walked right by my dad and back up two flights to his bed with my dad following closely behind in disbelief. After that, it got scarier because he went outside on occasion, would walk to the mailbox and do other things that were familiar to him with no knowledge. Asha essentially got ready for school, put on one of her favorite outfits, backpack and walked the bus route (familiar) even without a bus present. The rain leads me to believe that even more because she didn’t react. If she woke up, she would’ve been terrified, cold, confused and possibly hid afraid as to how she’d explain this having never been one to do anything she wasn’t supposed to. She could’ve gone for help in the morning and run into the wrong person. Just my brainstorming having witnessed it before with my brother.

Never thought about that! Wow! I actually slept walk once around the age of 13. Ended up running out the front door and about 6 houses away. Pounded on this poor elderly lady's house and she freaked! I was dreaming my best friend was being killed. So I was really frantic. Her son came out and walked with me down the street playing along and as we were walking I started waking up. He then walked me home and locked the front door. At the time I was in my dream, another world. But the next day all of it started coming back to me. So strange! Sleepwalking is a definite possibility!

My brother jumped out his window which was very very high off the ground as our house was kind of on a slope. He went to the neighbors house and knocked on the door. When she answered, there he is...a 15 year old boy in nothing but his tighty whiteys. He woke up when she answered and she walked him back home and told my dad what had happened. He also almost lost a toe one night when he walked into a fan that had no front cover on it. I think your theory is quite plausible.

if the alleged client was the one who killed her, then that dude is a ninja master in the art of killing... in which case I'd be curious as to who hired the hitman, because he would almost certainly have to be a hitman, unless there was a pattern of women/prostitutes turning up dead in this fashion. Someone doesn't as a one shot deal decide to kill a prostitute and end up doing so, so efficiently roughly 20 minutes. He would almost certainly have to get blood all over him, because people don't automatically die or die quickly from a slit throat. He'd either need to slit her throat and then hold her in place or choke her out and then slit her throat..., but lucky for him they're both naked, so all he has to do is take a quick shower and then put his clean clothes back on. She apparently had been arrested a month prior on prostitution charges and based on claims from the family she was working on something with her lawyer that was going to clear her of the charge. So, in other words, the police almost certainly had her working as an informant and this is what likely got her killed.

For Shelby's murder, did they (police) attempt to see if he bf/pimp cell phone was in the same room as her when she sent the "good" text? Because her client's demeanor seems calm, line no weird movements when he entered & exit. So it could be the pimp, or a 3rd suspect that somehow was able to enter her place. And if there was a 3rd, they would have to have known the code word (good) if they knew how those two work. Now I wonder what is the time stamp on the text plus the time stamp on the footage match at all if the police story claims she sent the text after her client left. Or could've been a side job that her bf doesn't know about. So many unanswered questions

i think the suspect for the lisa case is a woman because the way they're running and they way theyre shaped, small, perhaps skinny and fast. something abt the arm swaying makes it feel like a female.

Honestly, I think the white guy in Shelby's footage was the killer; given that 17 minutes passed between her last message and the person walking out of the building, there would be plenty of time to wash off the blood (as for the clothes, given how the murder was performed, it's not impossible they didn't get bloody). Not to mention, when he leaves the building, his left hand is in his pocket as if he was hiding something...
