Im not the only one who gets oddly satisfied with these things. For some reason just watching a human being record a class on airline and show all the good things about it is just so amazing.
I don't know why some people say that the A380s have failed. They're the biggest most vastly decorated planes ever. 747s never had private first class cabins, or separate jetways to the first/business class upper deck where not one economy passenger is allowed to set foot into. They bar off all the stairways downstairs where only cabin crew and first/business class passengers are allowed to walk up or down them.
I was fortunate to fly First Class on Emirates to Milan from New York. Like you, the experience was AMAZING!!!! I’m am still reliving the experience. EVERYTHING about the flight was too good to be true. I love love love Emirates and cannot wait to fly them again!
I just love your genuine enthusiasm and excitement. Even after all the fights you've taken. I think we should never lose that, no matter how old we are. Your videos are my favourite 🙂
I did Emirates Business and I was amazed. From the chauffeur to the private Dubai entrance to the business class lounge to private plane boarding and it was just a royal experience, I can’t wait to try their first class!
WoW thanks for requesting the survey form. I’m Emirates crew and those survey helps us so much as you said when it comes to promotion or even just to get some recognition. I’m happy you enjoyed the Ek A380 first class experience, home to see you on board soon 🙏🏼
I have watched quite a few of your videos now and I have enjoyed them all. Your irrepressible joy when you get a touch of special treatment - nuts in your date, or enough hot towels to propel a small car - are especially fun moments. Thank you also for being among those people who keep economy affordable for us A to B people. Just watching your videos is almost like sharing the experience of first-class travel; all I have to do is close my eyes and imagine that guy behind who keeps on randomly thumping my seat is actually a nimble-fingered air steward giving me a stress-relieving massage.
Wow, that really was insane indeed! I bet you wished the flight was much longer, haha! Such a shame that they will no longer continue building the A380, such a beautiful plane. But at least they will still be around for plenty more years.
Love Emirates and especially the A380. Been very fortunate to fly business class 10 times now...and off to Maldives this September from Manchester, again with Emirates BC...cannot wait ...maybe one day I'll fly First class!
Awesome video. I would have liked to see the first class departure/arrival lounge, the limo service etc. The first or business class experience starts long before the airport and would be awesome to see Emirates' first class offering. EDIT: OK you briefly showed the limo experience in Frankfurt, would love to see the end to end experience next time.
I can only experience these flights vicariously through you. Love seeing the first class experiences. The emirates amenities "beach" bag is very nice. Would be awesome to find one on ebay. I saw the video with your mom, and that was fun. She must be very proud.
@Nonstop Dan love this video. The details in the video gave a perspective of both the soft and hard product that many reviews haven’t included. Great work 👍🏽
Can anyone recommend another good airline for me to try in the future? I’ve also flown Silk Air, Qantas, Iceland, British Airways, and Royal Nepali Airlines, but only economy, in the past.
Yay! Watching this vid again. Changes in flights from Australia due to protection from the current scourge we will actually be flying Emirates First Class to the UK next month. Can’t wait!! This vid of yours makes me even more anticipatory.
I watch this over and over. I just love your passion. Will be flying Emirates A380 first class soon from Los Angeles to Khartoum Africa. So it’s the A380 nonstop to Dubai, then 19 hours s layover in Dubai in a lovely hotel. Then 3 hours first class flight in Emirates 777-300 into Khartoum airport. Also a great review! Best part of all, the company is footing the bill!
Well, it's a thumbs up from me, I'd just lllllllove to fly Emirates first class. Great review Dan, it is very believable as you paid your own way, though for the price one would expect only the best! Fancy you being the only one in there, I bet you felt like little lord Fontilroy 😀 Nice one
I think no one can fully enjoy the first class because there is literally so many things to explore. I wouldn't mind spending 24 hours onboard this plane XD
Watched your video once again and it REALLY makes me want to fly Emirates First Class. Great job! Also anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Vincero watch that should arrive any minute! I did use your link! Many Thanks!!
Hi Dan A great video, I can't believe 47 people say they didn't like it🤔🤔🤔 The report really showed what real first class means and looks like. I was really pleased that you valued the cabin staff who looked after you and I do hope the airline recognises the comments you made about them. Regards DS
dzhiurgis exactly but i think the reason why behind this is that emirates thinks putting a shower in a plane will just be enough so they didn't even think about installing better shower heads. its same with etihad too
Emirates looks awesome Dan, do they humidity the First Class A380 like Lufthansa does? No shower on Lufthansa but I land with zero jet lag after flying 20 hours. Tomorrow I’m flying Singapore Airlines First Class from SGN to SIN to FRA to JFK, flying 23 hours. Happy SongKran!
the A380 is made differently to other aircraft. Its composite and carbon fibre not metal. This has various benefits. its lighter and uses 25% less fuel. It also allows a higher cabin pressure which is why you do not suffer jetlag. It has nothing to do with the humidity its the cabin pressure.
no way man, you folded your hand towel after using it? Youre honestly such a gentleman, thanks for pointing that out, no wonder youre such a likeable guy!
I took a 10 hour flight yesterday, in united airlines economy class, with more than enough legroom (the only thing I ever want as I'm 6'4"), countless films and TV shows I didn't watch, and three separate meals. One would have been enough, maybe with a snack if 10 hours. The return trip cost me £310. I've genuinely never felt more "special", without having asked, and it was even a little vulgar (yep, even economy class). As Louis CK says, "you're sitting in a chair in the sky". What more do you need? This video almost feels like it's been made up, I don't know what it says about the world for it to be aspirational, and I love how freeing it is to never want any part of it.
Dan: how do you have time to fly all the time when you have school? are all your classes online? I'd really like to travel more but I'm in college as well, so just wondering what's your secret?
I've traveled First Class many times and always considered doing a video, but I never have as I don't think I would have the balls to speak out loud in a cabin with other people. I'm flying the new Emirates 777 First Class and the A380 First Class in one day in July. Would be great to do RUclipss first double-review
I’ve flown Emirates A380 business Dubai - Melbourne, was amazing but this this first class would be next level incredible. Our airfares here in Australia are crazy expensive (like everything) the business class leg I flew was 7500AUD. Sadly I can’t see myself ever being able to fly first 😢 Thanks for sharing ur experience 😍
Dan: I agree with all your assessments, and it is incredible to have the kind of pampering and facilities in Emirates First Class. The only different point of view that I have on their Entertainment system is that they edit their movies very much and Indian Movies take the biggest brunt. They try to constrict the movies to 2:00 hours and leave parts that are important for me. From that perspective, I can't agree that their Entertainment system is the best -- having more content is not the measure, having full content should be the measure. But for that, all my vote is for Emirates A380 First class, for sure.
In 2015, Emirates switched from taking delivery of GP A380s to RR A380s. As Emirates made that switch, were there any details in the cabin or seat, such as a different controller or different ceiling panels that changed alongside the engine choice?
Nice, and happy you enjoyed it. I fly Singapore Airlines 380 Suites and think that is really the best - the suite on the SQ flight seems bigger than where you are at ... not sure; and they sure serve Dom Per all the time. But thanks for sharing and enjoyed your enthusiasm
Well, it makes sense that El Al would want to outdo the Arabic nations airlines. But having a sauna in mid-air is even more mind-boggling than a shower (except that you need to shower when you get out of the sauna). Not that I expect I'll ever get the chance to find out.
We were lucky to be able to fly Emirates A380 First Class from London Gatwick to Auckland, via Dubai and Sydney and returned on the A380 in First Class, with a stopover in Melbourne, back in 2013. As you say, it really is an incredible experience! We also flew Emirates First Class from London Gatwick to and from Mauritius in 2014. Planning on a trip to Perth, Australia next year which will also be Emirates 1st Class!
The emirates crew is very hit and miss. i regularly fly business class and more times than not the crew just doesn't seem to care and i get the feeling they just want to get off the flight asap
I had a pair of Bowers and Wilkins DM5 speakers from the mid 70s which still sounded great after all those years. Gave them to a friend 3 years ago because I had to move to smaller quarters and didn't have the space for a full hifi kit.
Looks like you had a lovely flight and experience :) However, I hope the low passenger load on this flight is atypical if it is to remain in any way viable and profitable. Recent news that Airbus is to cease production of the A380 in a couple of years seems to answer that, although I expect Emirates and a few other airlines will still be using it for quite a few years yet, even with a reduced fleet size, but the almost non-existent secondhand market for this aircraft type (Qatar announcing it is phasing them out completely pretty soon) does seem to indicate whilst it is a marvellous product from the passenger perspective (in all classes) it is never going to be a money-spinner for the operating airlines; I expect Emirates might be an exception although its ownership probably means its financials are a closed book, so who knows. Enjoy it whilst you can seems to summarise it.

My line!!!
I think the B777 is way more luxurious
Wesam Mansour that product is newer than the one on the A380, so it’s a little unfair to compare.
A380 by far is the better experience because of the shower. 777 does not have shower and first class cabinet is also smaller.
