I had a Cadillac Escelade & I installed 6 JL Audio 12w7 subwoofers in the back in a custom enclosure and I was able to reach 156 decibels, it was so loud that it blew out all of my back windows 😁 I was running each subwoofer with a 1000-1 JL audio amp with 8 optima yellow top batteries and a wrangler alternator in line with the factory alternator. My Escelade was incredible 👍🏽😎

Germany seems to have a load of ex fire service ones that crop up a lot, Cyprus and Malta have quite clean MK1's for cheap. The one I do want if I could get one is the original the Ford Taunus Transit that was a right rip off of the VW bus looking very like the VW's.
I kinda dig Lada's. We don't have them here in the US but it would be nice to bring them over. They have some interesting character and are really sturdy. Yes they are just Fiats with some Russian changes but still they are interesting.

i did a similar build in my mazda 323 hatchback years ago , same style box as when you had it inside , its flexed as much or even more , i didnt have anywhere near the power that this build has tho and i didnt try putting them in the roof lol . it also didnt meter well but put on an awesome flex show , what did this meter on the termlab btw ? mine was about 152db which inst much for the equipment but then again it was more for fun and show rather than going for peak numbers but man did people ever give me crap about it , good video i enjoyed it , numbers are not everything :)
Experiment idea: Attach a parachute at the back of a powerful car. Then drive fast until the parachute fully opens and see the braking effect that it creates (how harder is for the engine to keep the speed).
I was at a car show in Australia and there were 2 x 32" Clarion woofers in the back of a ute. Standing next to it and it's just on low volume and they are hardly moving but it had a meter hooked up inside and was sitting on 142dB!
