Liza, I have had five kids and I always had an induction date set but my babies always came before hand. I have three girls and my first two girls were born at three weeks both of my boys for 37 weeks and four days my last girl was born 39 weeks and four days.
Congrats mama, beautiful baby!! I had my sweep at 38w1d and that was a Monday, my mucous plug was lost on Wednesday, and I was super crampy from it. Then by Friday I was in labor, admitted to the hospital around 9pm. They had me walk around and do laps to help me progress til around 11pm, but I would stop progressing anytime I would get up and moving, 3vwn bouncing on the ball. It wasn't until they gave me an epidural and I rested, then within 2.5 hours I went from 4cm to 10cm! My body def needed rest in order to progress, walking just delayed everything. If you felt you needed rest, that's because you likely did :) I gave birth Saturday morning at 38w6d. I def think the sweep worked for me! Congrats again love! ❤️❤️❤️
