It was fine. They just weren't committed to the dance. See why Maddie won a lot is not because she is the best technician or has the best costumes and choreography all the time. But because she was 110% committed for every second of the dance. Abby would want to win here so she wouldn't water down choreography.
@@MsJubjubbird Abby watered down choreography for them all the time. Kalani and Brynn both had contemporary as their strongest styles but Abby keeps giving Brynn lyrical and Kalani acro (before Alexa came and choreographed that solo for Kalani and Abby realised)
@@MsJubjubbird Pull your head out of Abby's wide backside. She DID NOT know how to choreograph for dancers of Kalani and Brynn's caliber. She didn't know how to choreograph maturely period. Everyone knows it. 😒
@@audioswapsuniverse that'sthe point though. They're meant to be able to dance to everything with 100%- not just if they can do leg holds and extensions for three minutes so it doesn't matter if the energy isn't there. Lillie is a great example of someone who can combine both- both in mature and more soft dance- and she's a better technician than Maddie. Brynn and Kalani are brilliant technicians but it's about commitment. Abby does choreograph very mature dances- as per her senior company and a lot of the dances on the show- but to dance maturely requires every fibre of your body to be in the dance. Even Brynn dancing hip hop against Mackenzie- Mackenzie was more committed so she won. A good worker never blames their tools.

YESSSSS!! I even think they were better than maddie. Maddie was a good dancer, but it always looked like she was dancing so fast, where kalani & brynn's looks more professional, flowy, & just beautiful.
@@sylviawilliams2233 YES! I've never felt like Maddie was as wonderful as Abby and everyone else thinks. I honestly think that all of her dancing opportunities were because of Abby's favoritism towards her. The other girls could have had a lot more opportunities at a younger age if Abby had wanted all of them to succeed instead of just Maddie. I love the irony of Jojo being way more successful than Maddie now.
