Such a fun weekend at the Bart Hall show with the Phenix Rods Crew!
I still remember the first person to recognized me as the “Dirty Hooker” in person almost 5 years ago to the date, and seeing where the channel is at now is so surreal to me!
I cannot believe how far we’ve come over the years. None of this would’ve ever been possible without all your support, and I wanna take the time to thank each and every one of you!
From so many of you trying @opsin_fluorocarbon , @phenixrods , and any other tackle and gear based on my recommendations and trusting in my judgement, to fans just wanting to come by the booth and chat it up in person! It all means the absolute world to me, and I cannot thank you all enough!
And lastly a huge thank you to the team for making me feel right at home straight from the start.

The all red is a game changer. I get a lot of head tilts from shops when I go in looking for a rock crab red iron cause yellows go nuts over it; especially if you get your hands on a black/red yo-yo jig.
Yoyos I’ve seen a handful of times, never seen it on a surface iron though, so stoked to test it out!
Gonna be my new secret weapon to keep in the box from here on!

Bro!!! Congrats for making the crew on the new Highliner. I was considering booking a trip too and what a coincidence to see that you’re part of the crew now. Now we can actually finally have the chance to fish together brotha. Been watching your videos since 2018/2019 and your videos helped me land more yellowtail. If it weren’t for your video, I would have never had a successful first wide open and limit out trip.

Here’s a trip suggestion for The Highliner.
Tell them to set up a BlueFin trip soon.
- Setup a 2 day leaving the dock at 6am
Note: The temp break and Cloro are good for them 130-150 miles off mex.
So as a result it would be an all day steam south to a evening or night bite.
Bigger fish caught at night I’d say …
Anyway if would, post a RUclips video of the boat when your there of it on your channel.

Submission Fishing makes some awesome lightweight jigs. If they made the Sumo and Assassin in 100, 120, 140, 160 grams sizes they would kill it on the East Coast and Japan. Super high quality design, hooks and color patterns.

What rod will you use to throw those 10g and 15g slow pitch jigs?
Haven’t quite figured that out yet. For now it’ll probably be something in the 7-12lb ML range, but we’ll see.
When you say working with the high liner do you mean like as a deckhand or just as like a partner

Awesome stuff bro , true deal 2years ago in hmlanding I tried slowing jiging for the won tournament not kidding entire boat was like quit that shit , bro nobody caught more than 2 BF , I caught 8 at the end of the day every one was asking what are you doing Show me your style
Haha that’s all it takes! No matter how much crap someone might be talking, once you start sticking fish, everyone wants to know.
Crazy how effective the jigging techniques are! So excited to try it out this year!

Ray I have the Diawa Lexus 400 winn would that reel cover you got fit mine ?
Really good question! The size I have for the T-Wing will not fit the normal size lexa 400.
The size you’ll want for that one would be the PH-04 LL. It’s actually a conventional reel cover and not “specifically” made for a 400 baitcaster, but it fits better and can be used while reel is on rod which is a big bonus!

I really appreciate that brotha, thank you so much👊! I’m always happy to be able to share a little bit of knowledge and help speed up the learning process for others. There weren’t very many informative videos out there when I was getting into the saltwater scene and I went through so many headaches becoming the fisherman I am today.
So being able to speed up that process for someone else, makes it all worth it!
Are you gonna be living down in SD now ?
Unfortunately not for about a year or so, until I can afford the move. But eventually that is the goal!
Gonna be doing like 3-5 days on and come home for acouple days and repeat.
So I’ll be out your way a lot more often this year if you ever have room on the skiff for me!

Hmm, not sure. I haven’t heard anything about that. If so, it might be so it’s before the PCS show, but no idea
