- Can You Beat CHIMPS Without Chimps? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - a very simple concept that I have yet to do before surprisingly, but now for an added challenge I decided to give it a go on an advanced CHIMPS map! See if these monkeyless towers & upgrades have what it takes.
This is my series of Bloons TD 6 strategy, gameplay, challenges, or whatever else it may be. Likes are appreciated, and subscribe & hit that bell to catch up on all future videos!

NK might not be able to make it canon though because in their blog posts they said that there are actually monkeys inside all the towers controlling them including bomb shooters and tack shooters. I don’t know how a monkey fits/controls a bomb shooter though lol.

2:48 Yes, fast forward does make towers shoot slightly slower compared to the bloons, due to their attack calculations taking the same time to complete in both modes
Edit: After discussions in the comments, this is probably only true for the older games, like btd5, and not btd6

@@thealientree3821 The problem is just that the attack calculations depend on the speed of your computer, so faster computers will have less difference between the modes, while slower computers will have a greater difference, due to the calculations taking longer
I doubt that this is the case. Calculations in Unity (Bloons's game engine) are synchronous by default, meaning the towers and bloons calculations are happening in order, and the next frame doesen't start before the current frame's calculations are finished. If the calculations are not done quickly enough to maintain high FPS, the game simply start to lag so the calculations can keep up, instead of the calculations continuing into the next frame.
In other words, the bloons are showing good sport by waiting for the monkeys to calculate their next move, instead of continue moving.

The etn skin is an alien, fusty the snowman is a snowman, and octo jones is an octopus, so all those heroes would be options if you use the skins
And Biker bones is a skeleton

Fun Fact: If you've played BTDB2 a little monkey pops up up from the middle path of the tack shooter once you get it to x/3/x and you have the 5th tiers unlocked. Not sure if it operates the whole thing but it's kinda cute.
i think its an unlockable cosmetics for the idle animation

The tack shooter actually has a monkey inside to pilot the tack shooter, so yes technically it does operate the whole things.
That tac shooter up front was just carrying the game
And the tack at the back was the 2nd carier

Dart tower operates in tack shooter canonically
Wrong, the skin in Bloons TD Battles 1 shows the inside of the tack shooter being gears
@@ProfVibes battles 1 maybe, but in battles 2, which is more accurate to td6 the dart monkey operates inside it with an idle animation I believe
I mean bomb shooter and village would require monkeys to operate as well
@@ProfVibes ninja kiwi confirms that there is a dart monkey in the tack shooter operating it (he gets heat resistant padding in top path)
honestly who cares. it isnt shown in the main games (1-6) except for a single banner and is only shown in one spin off.
ISAB is gonna beat Chimps one day by just tanking the Bloons and not using a tower

I had no idea that you could place anything on that part of the map
New Video Idea: Chimps but you can only use upgrades that have a monkey on the icon when you open the upgrades menu. Like Spirit of the Forest or Avatar of Wraith both have monkey faces in the icon. (Limbs can be allowed to make the challenge easier, up to you.)
6:30 Facts. Chimps is very trivial once you get the hang of it. Only exceptions are some advanced and most extreme maps.

It was funny was just thinking how all these challenge runs are on easy maps like I use all the worst towers and it’s logs or cubism or something. Really cool to see you try a more difficult map and show your skill lol

Next video, you could go for a boss bloon event chimpless, it would be interesting to see if you can manage to kill a boss without the need of chimps. Just an idea in case you're interested @ISAB
Without a paragon or super monkey it would literally be impossible
@@-voiddemoni-9243 I think it would not be on elite but rather on normal and in pretty sure shyguymask beat it with just moba assassins, so probably possible.
@@-voiddemoni-9243 It depends on: The difficulty of the boss (Normal or Elite), The modificators on the boss (like double hp moabs or half cash, etc.), And the boss itself, because some bosses might be easier for this than others for example it could be easier to do Bloonarius or Lych rather than Vortex or Dreadbloon. I believe Lych on normal difficulty with a map that wouldn't have a modificator such as the ones i named, it would be possible.

at the end i'd go for an MIB with tack zone, really good ddt when it have the extra pierce and damage from expertise.
at the end at round 99, instead of the spike storms, you could have gotten tack zone and a 0-3-0 village. most likely would have defended

I grinded the hell out of chimps because I had a bunch of time on my hands and black bordered 18 maps within a span of a month and only playing for a couple hours a day

OMG you won't believe it a couple years ago I made the same challenge in the same map but it was on normal hard mod, when I started the video I was in shock cuz its the same Idea we had both. (sorry if I had some spelling errors or something, english is not my native language)

There's technically a chimp in the tack shooter, but chimpless is my lifestyle, and I don't think the tack shooter chimp counts since you never see it anyways.

You can’t make money in chimps. The “I” in chimps is income
in chimps the banana farm is missing in the monkey slots if you see in the challenge isab did put the banana farm

balloons td battles 2 shows us that there’s a monkey inside the tack shooter when you unlock the tack shooter’s idle animation through tower exp, so you can’t use tack shooter either
