- RANDOM 5-5-5 Towers Vs. RANDOM Rounds! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - today in the random towers x ultimate crosspathing mod, we also combine a new mod that randomizes the rounds such that each bloon has a chance to upgrade! That of course ends up leading to some rounds being far more difficult than usual... see how far I end up making it with these rules.

i think a better version of the random round is to give each bloon a cost or smth like red bloons have 1 cost and to use it on other bloons like 20 reds can be randomized to 10 blues

this would make it more balance rather than just seeing a million fortified bads in 95

How would camo and regen get calculated
Does the camo and regen RBE has a separate number or do they just cost more RBE per bloon like ×1,25 or smth
The random rounds mod felt a little disappointing considering it's basically ABR on steroids plus triple half cash mode (which does not seem balanced to me in the slightest). I expected it to be more similar to apopalypse just without the constant round progression.
Yep, the abundance of earlygame camo and the really pointless reduction to money made was really odd
only 20% of bloons get tiered up by 1, so i feel like it should have been 0.7 or 0.8 cash multiplier, not 0.1, that's just absurd.

@@Zeldrake The idea is they upgrade, so they have more RBE and therefore, more money. 1% is ridiculous though

there should be a mod like this but instead it somehow calculates the RBE of every round and randomizes to match that number. i think that'd be interesting.

I don't quite get the change to income for this mod. You don't get that many more pops, especially early on in the game. I could maybe understand up to 0.5x money from pops, but 0.1x means you barely get any money at all from pops any more and have to survive with end of round cash only.
The random round mod was really disappointing imo - someone else said it was ABR mixed with super half cash, and I have to agree. It didn't really do anything but make everything in the early game camo, and then make blimps a step up from what they should have been plus fortified. On top of all that, you also get 10% the cash you normally do, so there's really not much you can do if you don't happen to get a farm. A much better option I've seen floated would be to have it randomize the bloons, but keep the (general) RBE of each round, so a round with 10 reds could instead have 5 blues, and so on. Camo, fortified, and regrow could still be applied, but would count against RBE as well, so you don't just wind up playing "the base game, but everything's regrow and camo", which this wound up being.
ISAB as a casual viewer I definitely enjoy the random tower videos the most.
And I enjoy the intense gameplays that you get in when you play btd battles 2.

the reason you died at 18:45 was because you had your 433 (?) sniper on strong and it targeted the bad instead of the ddts

i feel like both bfbs and ddts should turn to zomgs which turn into bads, because the whole thing with ddts is that they're delivered in bulk like the bloons market confused your lane for a warehouse, so them turning into bads can be really unfair,
you could always go the route of bfb -> ddt which i dont like because i feel like zomgs are just big bfbs but i guess that still works

Am I just dumb or is the Dart Monkey the most well-balanced tower because if you get at least a 3-3-3 or higher, it’s basically almost an auto win because it’s just so strong. The paths all are good in a different way, and if you get a 5-3-5, you actually just auto win cause all the paths combined make it good at anything.

Random 5-5-5, every time you want to upgrade/reroll a tower you have to roll a dice. 1 or 2 for path one, a 3 or 4 for path two, and a 5 or 6 for path three. If you roll a path which you cant upgrade (roll a 5 or 6 on a 2-3-0 tower) then you must drop a new tower. If you cant afford the upgrade you are allowed to skip or move on to a new tower but aren't allowed to go back without affording the upgrade which was passed. Bonus points if you can beat it without getting stuck. 😆Good luck.
A mode that makes rounds randomly harder doesn’t make sense to have a 0.1 pop multiplier. Maybe .75 or .5. The only thing that would cause a major cash problem is ceramics and moabs before round 50, and that’s unlikely. Random balloons being far stronger definitely make up for it.

would have been interesting if they randomized rounds depending on their total rbe
at least have some positive random changes then, instead of it having a chance to get harder, but also a chance to get lower so that it feels more of a randomized mode than a harder mode

Not many people probably notice this, but whenever you press a key on your keyboard, there is this super low rumble, and I think it's the sound of your mic wobbling whenever you hit a hotkey. It's super minor, but It bugs me.

Have you ever played Tower Madness 2? If not, it's really fun. You essentially defend sheep from alien invaders. Plus the tower placement and environment affects the invaders path.

For what ever reason when you get a 1-1-1 dartling gunner, the bottom path acts differently that's why you get 2 darts, there's really 2 darting gunners.

Maybe try making it so that instead of randomizing whenever you upgrade the towers, they randomize every few rounds. You can change the number you get to keep them for to alter the difficulty.

i think random rounds could just pick a random round from 10 rounds forward or backwards, so it's around the same difficulty range, but could be pretty much anything, for example r63 on r53 or r40 on r30, but at the same time you could get cash starve rounds, money gain could get nerfed to like x0.5 when the round is "a future one" so for example r55 on r48 won't make you as much cash, eventually mess with the code to make it so every round appears just once with an offset
this way you kinda expect when is stuff going to appear, but still not quite
Requements for BTD6 - Gamble Edition
• Random 5-5-5 towers with 0.5 to 1.5x RBE each round
• Towers randomizing and hero randomizing ever random amount of rounds
• Map randomizing anytime, with random money, and random lives.
• Random modded towers and Bloons being added
• Gamemodes Changing randomly.
• Maybe more
I was thinking just random rounds mod, like round 1 can be any round, but maybe implement a way where you only have a pool of 5 rounds up or down of the current round
