    Great fans. I got one to try along with some "other ones"...you know which ones! those are all dead and the AC infinity is still running smooth no bearing noise or vibrations. Been 24/7/365 full speed for almost 3yrs or so now. Love the fan controller interface. They have the controller with the humidity sensor on it now which is really cool. I'm in the middle of a full fan system upgrade and going with these guys 100%. Already started ordering my stuff.
    Not only are they good fans but when they noticed people were using them in their grows they welcomed us where other companies are reluctant. Ugh... I sound like such a fan boy pun intended... But I don't care!

    Do yourself a favor and get the S8 and buy they controller 67. If the 8 inch is overkill it just runs at a slow speed and its quiet that way. Running slow will extend its life and you can always make it run faster in a bigger tent. The 8 inch model moves a lot more air than the 6 inch for an extra $50

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  3 года назад +1

      The S8 and the T8 are the same fan and the controller you're talking about is out of stock with no ETA according to AI's website. In my setup I don't even need the fancy controller, I run it at half full time and always have with my fans.

      Ocean Drive nope , that’s exactly why I got it . I hit up a few friends that already had the 8 and they all said noise wasn’t an issue . I wanted the extra grunt to move air up my sleeve though just in case because I live in at times a very arid hot climate . No regrets with purchasing it .

    The S4 has 8 settings giving you 25 CFM per setting for more precise control whereas the S6 gives you 50 CFM per setting so bigger steps. That being said, which one would be more noisy if they were both set at say 100 CFM, the T4 set at position 4 or the S6 set at position 2?

    I’ve got two AC infinity in lines, T6 and T8 cloudlines and they work great but don’t expect that their controller is gonna control your environment perfectly, I have to use the Hydrofarm F60 AutopilotEclipse, because I need to run heater and dehumidifier, the AC infinity is really not gonna reduce your humidity that much but it helps with cooling that is if it’s cooler outside your tent, the AC infinity works best if your in a sealed room and you control the environment of the room your tent is in with a mini split, hvac or whatever, but you must exhaust out of the room, not into the room or you’ll just be pulling in the air your exhausting, also I think my sensor is off it is never the same as the others hygrometers which really bothers me, I’m thinking of calling AC infinity and ask if I can purchase a new sensor for the t6 in my 5X5 Gorilla, I’ve got the t8 in my 5x9 Gorilla, a T8 in a 4X4 is total overkill, the t6 would be perfect or you could even get away with the t4 in that 4X4 but t6 would be perfect, idk why you’re using a T8 in a 4X4, way Overkill!!!

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  3 года назад +2

      I run an 8” exhaust and 4” intake fan. I run the 8” at half to keep it quiet. Which is what I think everyone should do. You also don’t need to exhaust out of the room if you’re cooling the room. Been doing it for years. It regulates humidity of the environment in the tent to whatever outside the tent is with enough airflow. With intake and exhaust fans I can also regulate the amount of negative pressure I have and still keep max air flow which is better on your tent seams.

    • @sickboy8354
      @sickboy8354 3 года назад

      Justintime2grow I got ya, but I still wouldn’t exhaust into the room I’m pulling air from, just doesn’t seem like proper practice but if it works for you that’s awesome, don’t fix what’s not broke!!! And your right it would probably be ok for me to do the same but I’m set up already exhausting out of room and my buddy who helped me build the room thats in my utility room in my finished basement works for another buddy of ours in his facilities and he did most of the building of the two facilities so he knows what he’s doing he builds commercial grows for a living, and he had it exhaust out of the room, and I knew very little then about indoor growing and indoor grow rooms I had only grown previously outdoors for like 3 summers before building the indoor room and that still made sense to me, and I have HVAC and each room in the basement is on its own zone/ thermostat so I don’t disrupt the other rooms with my temp settings which is great, and even with having the HVAC he still had it exhaust out of the room, but Yes I think you are correct that if I were exhausting into room it would be ok being that that I have HVAC, but if no hvac it wouldn’t be good right because then I’d be pulling that same air back in?
      Oh and also do you think It would be beneficial to have one bringing Air in to room or tents or no since I have the hvac

    Justintime I had a question for you. I know you are very knowledgeable and I value your opinion. I do not have much room in my 2 by 2 tent and was wondering if I could put the inline fan on the outside of the tent ducting it into the tent and a separate duct that will let air exhaust out of tent. BTW I'm not going to use a carbon filter. Would this be sufficient? If not what would you recommend?

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  3 года назад +1

      Yes thats how I run mine but I also run a carbon filter. I put the fan on top of the tent and run a duct down inside sucking out. I put a filter on it so it doesn't collect dust and dirt in my carbon filter which is outside on the floor.
