I think the only plastic chrome part was on the xc indicators but i don't think that really counts because the whole thing was plastic plastic xc grille with metal chrome trim as well around the plastic grille but it's very solid for being a plastic part if that made any sense.
As a previous 71 Torino owner, I agree. They would have sold like hotcakes in the States, but Ford was always protective of the Mustang even when the Mistang got fat and sloppy.
Great video, great cars. But why oh why does this happen all the time - unnecessary music Tt just detracts from the main focus of the video. Not everyone shares the same taste in music. The cars are the most awesome sounding machines and when overlaid with annoying music it just plain ruins it. Sorry, I'm not singling you out per se, its a common theme, music detracting from the subject matter. End of rant. But again, I do appreciate you sharing the sight and sound of these awesome cars :)
Well said and I share the sentiment. I had to unclick my "like" as soon as the music started. It's a good video otherwise. It'd be cool if the person shooting the video would upload a "clean" version without the music!
"I may live here in the US,but my favorite cars will always be Aussie Ford Falcons all day everyday"
Nothing looks better then a Falcon Coupe!
I am a Chevy guy through and through .. but i do love a Ford Coupe ...
THE XA GT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAR FORD AUSTRALIA EVER BUILT
sure did build a good looking car that goes hard to.
yeah, but not the ones with the bulbous arse!
Real Falcon GTs have 4 doors. And the XA 4 door was oh so sleek.
and a black xb Gt coupe the meanest looking road car any manufacturer built period
Go the fords
I feel like this event is filled with all of Australia's ford coupes that are restored and running
No plastic on those or fake chrome or all this computer crap nice and simple and had a great note on them👍

XB was perfection, looks wise. XA wasn't enough and the XC, with the exception of the Cobra, was watered down.
Its a shame we didn't get these in the States. Torino proportions without the extra bulk.

The cars aren't running
So bizarre to see these muscle cars - like an equivalent parallel universe to their American counterparts.
And then... s6peed in the fg barra
.
Beautiful cars but Please DONT do music over engine note , a lot of people would rather hear the car talking to us !
the prices are stupid, it's time someone come out with a body to stick on a newer chassis
ya to bad we didn't get these in the States, to bad the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car. love the car though
The steering wheel is on the right side as with all right hand drive cars yours is on the wrong side my friend, Lol
All Car's need to have the steering wheel on the correct left hand side
@@nickefgen9219 That's not the correct side The steering wheel is correct on the right hand side.
Steering wheel is on the correct side of the car.
Terrible music! Just awful. Fantastically awesome cars though. Would have been nice to hear owners talk!
Lol, liviing in past glories
