    *This battery reconditioning program exceeded my presumptions. It worked on any drill battery, several AA and AAA batteries, **batery.repair** and any camera battery. The steps are simple and the act itself is exciting to do. No matter what type of battery you`ve got, it is sure to function again!*

    I feel grateful this reconditioning program ruclips.net/user/postUgkxcJ22tnHH9l1vjdIdEIG27iOG55P7LXI8 was started. I had Three dead batteries scheduled for disposing of. Having said that, I tried out reconditioning them and it took me only an hour to do it! It doesn`t matter what type of battery you want, the process works.

    the battery charging voltage of a 12 volt lead acid battery is 2.3 volt per cell i,e 2.3*6=13.8 volt and 1/10 of the ah rating of the battery eg a 100 ah battery needs 10 amp current to charge the battery. However the project is good for low ah battery.

      Vivekananda Mandal you can charge any battery at the recommended cv and cc by the manufacturer!! My 12v 7.2ahr battery has an initial current of 3amps so i set the cc on my ltc3780 to 3amp and volt to 14.4v and atfirst it changes at cc until the battery current reduced under 3amp it goes to cv and trickle charges and then when the charge current is near 0 i disconnect the charger andthere i have a healthy 7.2ahr battery that is still works for 4years now!!

    batteries can deplete its potential energy totally to 0 volts, 12 volts on the spec only means that it have 12 volts max of potential energy. the meter shows that the batteries is 9 volt at the time before charged (but it also shown that the batteries do still have some potential), the output from the mod psu is 12 volt, so the mod psu can charge the batteries up until the batteries have same potential energy of 12 volt.
    and you should put the red cable 12v output into the avometer too at 2:26 it shows that the red cable is +12 that means it also produce more then 12v, its vary on different psu but usally like 13 - 15 v ish.

      SIGH! When are people going to wake up and smell the coffee?
      NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER drain a lead acid battery (of ANY voltage) to 0 volts! Are you INSANE? NEVER drain it to below 11.5 volts and even THAT is pretty low. Do you want to utterly KILL your battery? For PROPER operation and LONG life they need to operate within a specific range. It's why your car battery will die if it is NOT charged by using the car on a regular basis just as easily as it will die from over-charging due to a faulty alternator.
      IT IS UTTERLY IMPOSSIBLE TO PROPERLY CHARGE A 12 VOLT L;EAD ACID BATTERY FROM A 12 VOLT DC SUPPLY. STOP BELIEVING YOU CAN ... YOU CAN'T. AND IF A 12 V LEAD ACID BATTERY IS CONSISTENTLY RUN UNTIL IT'S TERMINAL VOLTAGE FALLS TO 9 VOLTS YOU WILL DESTROY THE BATTERY'S LIFE NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU THINK YOU ARE "RECHARGING" IT!
      WAKE UP! DO SOME PROPER RESEARCH!
      Here's a good link that gives you PROPER info: electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/38321/what-should-the-voltage-of-a-fully-charged-lead-acid-battery-be

    • @HaikalHajja
      @HaikalHajja 7 лет назад

      yes, but i was referring to answers below.. about cannot charge from this kind of charger because potential flow must be more then 12V but it does have more then 12V (+12v)
      in terms NEVER NEVER NEVER, well not really.. there's always what type's of batteries, what price and quality etc..
      as long as the cell still in good condition, the acid can be replaced that is i agree when a batteries reach 0 volts, the acid chemistry gone bad but not always the cell
      what you must not is charging 12 volt batteries with 24 v settings.. now that's a NEVER NEVER NEVER..

    This will work for an emergency charger, won't fully charge a 12v battery and you have to make sure you turn it off manually but hey it will give you some DC volts if that's what you're after. Now this is funny, to me. I once had a cordless drill (the kind where the battery is inside) it was an old one and i would charge it with a big charger with the + and - wires hanging out of the drill. Just set the battery charger to go off and its all good. Well one time I forgot it was being charged, the setting on the charger was HOLD and it was a three day weekend. Monday I get to the shop (and this is a big shop, it fits six motorhomes inside) Well the entire place is filled with smoke and the rechargable dril is a pild of melted plastic and wires bubbling away as the car charger was still charging it
